Customer Review Summary
Friendly service is the most consistent draw, with reviewers describing staff who keep drinks topped up, stay cheerful when the pub is busy, and find a table without a wait. Food comes close behind, described as delicious and served piping hot. Diners name the Sunday roast, where more gravy was happily supplied when asked, as well as the signature burgers and a katsu curry bowl. One coeliac diner says staff were flexible about swapping ingredients to suit a strict gluten-free diet. Dogs are repeatedly made welcome, and reviewers mention the beer garden and dog chews sold at the bar. Two complaints appear once each. One reviewer only saw a sign for Vintage Inns app discounts on the way out and was told it was too late to use them after paying. Another says parking gets a little restricted when the pub is busy. One reviewer notes their dog got a chin scratch from the barman.

“We had the signature burgers and a katsu curry bowl and they were all gorgeous. Not often I’d recommend a £20 burger, but that one was worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and nice and the service was good. Pub itself is very dog friendly (they have dog chews available to buy at the bar!). Would 100% recommend for any dog (or non-dog!) family.”

“Stumbled across this lovely pub restaurant when asked AI to suggest suitable Coeliac & pet dog friendly places in Seven Oaks area. Warm welcome, lovely menu and great service.l felt well catered for regards my Coeliac strict GF diet & avoid cross contamination needs., indeed the staff were very flexible in suggesting & swapping ingredients for my meal. Food was excellent. Prices as expected Dog loved the beer garden area too. Highly recommend this place.. Only comment would be that, sadly, we had already paid for our meal & drinks before becoming aware of the discounts & offer benefits for 'Vintage Inns' app users on a sign facing the door as you leave the premises . Unfortunately we were told we can't avail of these as we'd already paid so 'next time'. Obviously it would have been nice to have had this pointed out beforehand, (or for bill board sign to point towards people entering). Everything else was excellent..plenty of car parking, clean toilets, nice ambience.”
