About The Fish Inn, Ringwood
The Fish Inn, Ringwood is a 16th century thatched pub on The Bridges, set on the banks of the Avon with a riverside garden. The kitchen works from locally sourced produce and seasonal ingredients alongside pub classics. Butcombe beer is on at the bar, with other brands poured as well. Guests announce themselves at the bar to be seated, then order and pay at the table, where the team provides table service. Dogs are welcome, and the pub usually has a wait for a table or for food. A biker night brings motorbikes to park outside.

Customer Review Summary
The caveat is service when the pub is busy. One diner waited a while to be seated after announcing themselves at the bar, and another found table service slow and confused. The lowest review describes dishes and beers unavailable without being told until the food arrived, a watery espresso martini, and a cocktail glass that broke in the drink. The staff replaced a drink in response, and another reviewer noted a beef dish cooked more well-done than requested.

“We visited on a trip to Dorset; it's a great spot for lunch and just a few minutes off the main road. The menu is really good. I could have happily ordered about 10 things from it, and I had the bubble & squeak Benedict while my friend had the sausage wheel. Really good produce - the sausage, ham (in my Benedict) and eggs were superb. We then finished up with two of the mini deserts - 3 small doughnuts for me and some ice cream for her. Great service throughout! A really good pub lunch.”

“the staff were welcoming and friendly we were sat at a lovely booth which was very open and welcoming, the atmosphere was buzzing and it was lovely to see if busy. The food was hot well presented and very tasty. As the afternoon went on it got quieter but still the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back”

“We came here for the lunch. After a long day of riding motorbikes from Devon, this place seemed like a good place to rest and relax. There is enough space to park your cars or motorbikes. There is a good play area to keep kids engaged.”
