“An incredible disappointment, particularly given the price. The pizza was dry and very sparsely topped. Large areas of it were covered by nothing but a thin layer of the very bland sauce. A few tiny dabs of n'duja and nowhere near the amount of pepperoni you would expect for a 16 quid pizza. The food was also cold when it arrived. Whilst we ordering at the till, we had to repeat several parts of our order. The member of staff then read our order back to us, presumably because there had been so much (inexplicable) confusion about our order. Despite this, when the food arrived one of the pizzas was not what we had ordered. The member of staff who brought the order to our table did not apologise for this when we quietly and reasonably pointed it out, but simply looked annoyed and walked off without saying a word before coming back with the right order some time later. To be clear, we are not Karens. We certainly didn't give any staff a hard time or even complain during our visit. But we would have expected at least an acknowledgement of the mistake that the restaurant had very obviously made and some assurance that the correct order would be with us shortly, rather than being treated like a nuisance. When the food arrived for some other guests on our table who had ordered separately, we saw a member of staff wondering around with it, not knowing where the food was going. It was then explained to us that 'she hadn't put the table number on it", whatever that means. Absolutely not worth what we paid. I can honestly say that I've had better pizzas from Iceland or Wetherspoons and paid an awful lot less for the privilege. Cracking view from the outside area, and all staff members except the person who brought our food were polite and breezy.”

“Pizzas and cider, done well! Despite the apparently simple offering, the variety of cider is brilliant, the pizza Incredibly tasty and HUGE. Can be a high level of background noise when busy, but this creates a buzzing atmosphere too. Thoroughly enjoyable simple meal out - and great location next to the harbour.”
