Customer Review Summary
Sushi rolls anchor the praise, with the crispy duck roll named most often and called outstanding, alongside duck and cucumber rolls. Close behind are the Wagyu caviar rolls, singled out for their incredible umami, plus the soft shell crab roll, eel, sashimi and the boss selection platter. Beyond sushi, diners mention ramen, pork udon, a beef bento box and katsu curry dishes, with mochi ice cream for dessert, though one wishes they had chosen the traditional mochi with bean paste. Reviewers describe beautifully presented plates, friendly and warm staff, and a cosy, chilled atmosphere bustling with people. The main caveat is size. The room is small, one reviewer says booking could be simpler through a website, and another recommends booking in advance because not one table was empty. Even so, a party of three was squeezed in without a reservation, another couple was fitted in at the last minute, and a party of seven had all their dishes arrive together.

“Perfect dining experience! The service was great, they managed to squeeze us, a party of 3 in, without a reservation no problem! The servers were great and attentive, the food tasted authentic and the atmosphere was so cosy! My friends and I really cannot get over how great the experience was and how delicious the food was also! We spent around £20pp which is such a steal! This place is a truly hidden gem and I wish them nothing but the best”

“This was our first visit tonight and it did not disappoint. The warmth and of the team on entering continued all through our meal - they could not be more helpful or polite. We were a party of 7 - the food came out together and was quick, beautifully presented and delicious! We started with king prawn tempura, a small sushi / sashimi platter and chicken gyozas. All perfectly cooked and tasty . For our mains we tried the various katsu curry dishes and the makimono ( sushi rolls ) the crispy duck in particular was outstanding . We have found our new favourite place to visit!!”

“Best food we have had in ages! It’s been just over 10 days since we’ve eaten at this fabulous restaurant and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Lovely friendly waitress that knew every inch about the menu, the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and came across so genuine and authentic. The food was PHENOMENAL. every. single. part. It was my partners birthday and he couldn’t have been happier. We can not wait to visit again soon!”
