Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the varied menu, which they say gave a mixed-age group plenty of options. One diner singles out a smash burger with chorizo and chilli with sweet potato fries, and another enjoyed a toasted sandwich. Cocktails and coffee come up close behind, with one reviewer mentioning the coffee art and another a decent beer selection. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly, quick and efficient, and the dog friendly, relaxed atmosphere gets a mention too. Noise is the most common complaint. Three reviewers say the big open room gets loud, and one found it hard to talk at their own table. Food complaints are more scattered. One reviewer found the breakfast toast dry and the salmon strange tasting, another struggled with the hard sourdough crusts on the toasted sandwich, and one waited nearly an hour for food while staff seemed overwhelmed. In another review, a meal missed at ordering was quickly put right, and a grandson got an extra portion of chips for the trouble.

“Ate here on Sunday evening in early July. Table of 6. Booked in advance but probably didn't need to as there were plenty of free tables. This is part of a chain, with lots of restaurants across the UK....all with different names but the same Lounge brand. Great menu with LOADS of choices. We had a breadth of age ranges in our group and they all had plenty of options. Food was delicious, good drink selection, great staff who work very hard. Will happily visit again next time we're in Plymouth. Free carparking for up to a few hours right behind the restaurant.”

“I feel compelled to write a review for Divino Lounge after yet another stellar visit! Me and my girlfriend love everything about the lounge, from the lovely atmosphere, interesting decor, to the absolutely astoundingly good food. We have not eaten one thing on the menu that hasn't blown us away! Our favourite place to go in all of Plymouth, could not recommend more.”

“We popped in for a toasted sandwich, which was lovely .. but I do wonder why it always has to be sourdough bread? .. toasted, this stuff could be used for hard core .. I had to pour ketchup on the crusts to eat them (I'm sure others love sourdough, but I find it so dang hard!). The place is big, open and can get quite load, so bear that in mind if it's busy. The staff and service were great, very quick and efficient. My main gripe was the ketchup bottles (tomato shaped .. very cute) but the one I was given wasn't clean .. it was so sticky I had to wrap a napkin around it to use it. This place is a great addition to the Broadway though .. and the decor is fun.”

“Internet was down at home and needed to work. Popped in for few hours on a Friday morning and used the WiFi for a couple of online meetings. Got quite noisy late morning, but its great to see to see it busy and doing well! Great coffees and friendly and helpful staff! Thanks guys 👌👍 ps. Ace coffee art! 🌷🩷”

“Enjoyed a family get-together here. Our meals were very good although one of our meals was missed off by mistake at the point of ordering. The situation was quickly rectified and my Grandson enjoyed an extra portion of chips for his inconvenience. All meals were freshly cooked and very well priced. Thank you for a great afternoon/evening.”
