  “If you are in Otley on a Monday night, you’ll quickly realize that very little else is open, making The Bowling Green a total lifesaver. It’s a really nice pub with modern decor and a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere for a Wetherspoons. ​One of the best things about this spot is that there is no background music, which meant we could actually sit and have a proper chat without shouting. The real highlight, though, was the Monday special: 3 'small' plates for just £10. Despite the name, the portions were anything but small! We had a mix of dishes that were well-cooked, generous, and incredible value for money. ​The staff were friendly and the whole vibe was very laid back and a great selection beers too. Whether you’re a local or just passing through on a quiet weeknight, it’s a reliable, comfortable, and very affordable choice. Definitely a solid 5 stars for the Monday Club deal!”

  “Nice pub. Has various sections to it. Lots of people drinking beers early morning which is what spoons is about. Used the app to order the food, was easy and food arrived pretty quick. Breakfast was great for the price. Pancakes were ok. Coffee was nice. Help yourself at the coffee machines. They were both down for a bit when I went to get a drink.”

  “Staff were very nice, however they need to be quicker on clearing the tables, especially as it was quite busy and we struggled to find a table. Regarding the food/drink, I had a pizza and a Pepsi, which was nice and both came in good time. I would come here again, but to come at a quieter time.”

  “Busy with standard lunchtime spoons crowd we started off in the large outside seating area but then went inside. We ordered online checking on any delays (none to worry us) but we had a change from our usual spoons fayre of breakfast or pizza: we ordered shawarma chicken topped fries ~ caution imo that sauce is 🌶️ 🌶️, chicken strips (yummy JD dip)& curry sauce chips; food & drinks served by friendly but busy staff. Lovely setting we’d not been for years = nice lunch & we’ll come again.”

  “Our first visit. I was shocked when I saw the inside it is so cute. The breakfast was lovely too. We will definitely go again...... so we went again...and again.....and again. I love it here food it lovely! Sometimes they forget to add items to the plate but as soon as you tell someone they sort it out. For the price you really can't complain.”
