  “Great atmosphere, service and setting, but the food was disappointing for the price. Portion sizes were very stingy on the main ingredients. The £19 Chicken & Pepper Skewer was just one single kebab on a flatbread packed with rice, and the tacos were mostly sauce and avocado with barely any meat or fish.”

  “We visited for breakfast & it was beautiful! Scrambled Egg on toast & a full breakfast and it was stunning! The staff are so lovely , the pub is warm , clean , friendly & very inviting! The Sunday menu looks divine & we will certainly be back! Thank you all 🫶🏼”

  “Beautiful food everything I brought out hot & such lovely staff very sweet waitresses. The only downside is the women’s toilets they are very dirty unfortunately and messy toilet roll left in the stalls.”

  “Came to The Stansfield with some friends and sat in the bar. There was plenty of seating available, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The waitress who looked after us was brilliant—friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. We ordered the Cajun Chicken Breast, Pasta Gamberetti, and Moules Marinière. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, full of flavour, and reasonably priced. The Moules Marinière was especially impressive, with a generous portion of mussels, making it excellent value for money. The staff were pleasant, professional, and always happy to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended.”

  “The atmoshpere and service were fine but I feel the food is not as good as it was (my last visit is more than 6yrs ago). We were a big group and ordered a veriety of dishes but none were so good we have to go back. Its 4 stars from me but a disappointing 4 stars because I previously thought of Stansfield Arms as a top ranked place for pub grub.”

  “Very disappointed with the food although edible was not up to a highly recommended place to eat. Had fish and chips , very hot in temperature (which I didn't mind) but clearly microwaved making batter soggy and chips limp. Normally would have mentioned this but being part of a group didn't want to spoil the evening. If your going out out for a treat it needs to be spot on every time, it's not rocket science. Must say though the staff and service were excellent”

  “Initially parking was an issue as the beer garden was absolutely full. We had a reservation and sat at a lovely roomy table. The waiting staff (male) was brilliant and friendly. Food was delicious, well presented, flavoursome and reasonably priced. Personally, the sea bass was absolutely devine. We will definitely be back.”

  “This is a great place for food, beer and atmoshere. Would recommend! 2 real ales on here. This pub is well worth a visit. The food was excellent, but choosing a meal is difficult because the menu has lots of tasty offerings. Portion size was excellent too. The atmosphere was great, quiet and we were able to hold a conversation very easily. The beer was good too. This is a real gem and we'll be back next time we're in the area!”

  “came down to the stansfield with some friends, sat in the bar, there was plenty places to sit and a great atmosphere with the fire on, gave a real cosy feel. we had some nibbles and some great cocktails couldn’t fault a thing!! lovely pleasant staff who are happy to help. will be returning !!”
