Customer Review Summary
The Sunday roast is what reviewers return for most, with the pork, beef and chicken, a big Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese singled out, and one diner calling it the best roast they had eaten out. Close behind is the welcome: reviewers describe friendly, smiling staff, an open fireplace and a cosy feel, and one praised how a gluten free request was handled with a Yorkshire pudding and cauliflower cheese made to suit. The sirloin of beef, the burgers seen coming out of the kitchen and a very good Guinness also earn mentions, and one reviewer called it the best poured pint in years. The one reservation is value. One diner found the Sunday roast only OK for the price, though they still said they would go again. Several mention booking a table because the pub fills up, and one family sat in the dog friendly area. Reviewers also describe walking over from Guiseley to end a walk with a meal.

“We had the BEST Sunday roast here with family. It was absolutely delicious. The pork, beef & chicken were cooked to perfection , with lovely vegetables & a massive Yorkshire pudding! Cauliflower cheese & extra gravy was a great addition. If you haven’t been here yet, you have to go. Book ahead, as every table was taken. We had our dog with us, so we were sat in the dog friendly area. Efficient & friendly service. We will definitely be going again. Superb.”
