About Church Inn
Church Inn is a pub on Running Hill Gate in Oldham, where peacocks and pheasants roam the outside grounds and the views look over the surrounding countryside. We Are Wolf brews beer on site, and a brewery taproom pours it alongside cask and keg options. The kitchen cooks homemade pub food and runs a specials board, with cod fish and chips, rag pudding and roast dinners on the menu. A private dining room gives groups a space of their own, and dogs are welcome. Fires burn in the winter months.

Customer Review Summary
Generous portions at fair prices are what reviewers raise most, alongside homemade food and a friendly, busy pub atmosphere. The cod and chips is called delicious, the rag pudding is described as up there with the best one diner has tasted, and others single out the chicken wings and a roast dinner. Cask and keg beer draws praise, including beers brewed on site. Diners also like the outdoor seating, the views, the peacocks and pheasants outside, and the roaring fires in winter. One reviewer suggests booking, especially in winter. The main criticism is inconsistency. One diner found the fish and chips tasteless, with overcooked chips and mushy peas. Another said a promised side of peas never arrived during a busy Father's Day lunch. One called the burger not full of flavour. Another found the food flooded with gravy and wished it came in a small jug. The fish and chips diner left most of the plate and was given a refund.
