  “We have just visited today for Sunday Lunch and it most definitely will not be our last visit. The pub itself is lovely and cosy and clean. The lady serving us (auburn/red-ish hair was lovely. She was lovely with our three children, as were all the staff. The service they provided was exceptional. Our children are a little fussy and can find 'Sunday menus" a bit limited for them but the staff were so accommodating making it work for them and we had 3 clean plates. As for the Sunday dinners themselves both myself and the hubby had beef roast dinner and it was delicious. We are real foodies and couldn't fault it. We would definitely visit again when we are next in the area and would definitely recommend 👍”

  “We’ve just had one of the best Sunday lunches. A very relaxed, tradtional pub with a warm welcome. The Sunday lunches food was delicious and the portions generous. We will definitely return.”

  “A small but busy pub (even on a weekday). The food was excellent and the staff were able to provide a group of 18 with a pre-booked meal around 5pm. The sausage n mash with yorkshire pud was the dish we had and it was full of flavour and piping hot. Highly recommended. Well done to the friendly staff :). Dogs are welcome too.”
