About The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is a pub on Moor Rd in Nottingham, now under new management with a new landlady. Karaoke and disco nights bring a DJ to a small dance floor, and the pub runs "Sticky 13's" and "winner takes all" games alongside the music. A pool table gives the bar a game to play between the singing and dancing. The pub runs as a community local with regulars. It is not a Greene King pub. A big car park serves visitors who drive.

Customer Review Summary
Friendly staff under new management are what reviewers raise most, and several pair that with a lively community pub atmosphere. Karaoke and disco at weekends draw praise, along with sticky 13's and winner takes all games, and one reviewer on a reopening night liked a DJ who played good tunes and took requests quickly, with a small dance floor that still filled up. Others mention nice outdoor seats, reasonable drink prices, a big car park and a pool table that was free on a Thursday. The picture is not uniformly warm. One visitor felt treated as an outsider in what seemed a regulars only, social club kind of place. Another found some staff slow to serve and on a phone. One reviewer objected to a near demolished caravan and litter around the car park. A Sunday visitor left when a customer started singing during a tribute act and staff did not step in. The new landlady is described as welcoming and approachable, and one reviewer hopes she builds a family pub.

“This pub is my local. I've only really started going in it again recently. The new owners have eliminated the undesirable people, and it's a decent local pub. Update when in on a Sunday to see a Scar profomer but ended up.leving when he let a customer start singing. Very disrespectful and it wasn't Karaoke. Not the pubs fault but they should have stepped in.”

“How is a near demolished caravan in the car park and litter all over the the surrounding area is supposed to make this pub a community pub? The image it portrays in the area is bad and can only devalue the community”
