  “I’ve been to a lot of bars in the UK and I can say this is my absolute favourite one - the Pandan pina colada is the best friggin drink I have ever had in my entire life and they also serve the best Birria tacos in the world (got me craving them again already) - we travelled all the way from around the uk to come to this Tiki bar to try their infamous tacos and pina colada and ended with the best night ever with the amazing people there Alex, Jordy and Sophie!! To anyone in the area - this is an absolute must visit bar in Nottingham ♥️”

  “Pros - excellent happy hour price. Serious cocktails with some inventive twists, a lot going on with the flavours. Standouts were the Good morning martini, Hula Hula and the Pandan Pina Colada. The bartender was excellent, he knew his stuff and was happy to explain cocktails. Nice touches were the iced water without asking and his attention to detail when prepping ingredients. These guys are linked to the taco bar next door and are happy to order snacks for you, expensive but seriously good tacos. Cons - the service charge, I didn’t mind paying for it, the service was good, the hospitality trade is tough, but it was marked on the menu in such small print and no percentage was mentioned, although it is discretionary. See my photo and play spot the statement on service charges. Overall a good cocktail venue even at non happy hour prices.”

  “Hidden fees. 03/07/2026. £5.45 service charge makes its first appearance >after< paying on card - so watch your bill and get your calculator out to track drink prices before paying. First time visiting, looked up the website and menu before coming. Great drinks, great venue, great time but felt feeling duped. Edit: to clarify, one round which was three cocktails totalling about £25. (Plus hidden service fee). Bar empty at the time.”

  “☀️ I've been to many cities in the UK and across Europe but I've never been to a bar that I love as much as Tropichol. The experience here is always excellent. The cocktails are well priced, creative and of exceptional quality. The staff are kind, welcoming and genuinely passionate and skilled people. 🍸 This venue is a safe and welcoming place for all. It's a place to properly relax and enjoy a drink. Their menu of cocktails has been expertly developed to cater to diverse tastes - my particular favourites are a Blue Hawaiian and a Piña Colada. 🍹 This is a true independent bar with a genuine heart. As for the tacos, I've never found one that compares to theirs! Given the choice I'd eat here every week! 🌮 🏝 If you come to Nottingham, there is no better choice than Tropichol. It's a slice of tropical paradise 🌴 💙 ✨️”

  “Service was fantastic. Happy to a answer any questions that you had and recommend some fantastic drinks. There was only 2 of us but we ended up have a few each as it just felt right. Drinks were amazing so would definitely recommend if you want just a little get away bar.”

  “First time yesterday trying out a new cocktail bar. Wonderful service, very well decorated for the space they have. Cocktails were very nice especially the zombie great flavour and strength. Music at a perfect level and a welcome escape from the heat of the city centre. Will deffinately be coming again in the future, well reccomended.”
