Customer Review Summary

Breakfast is the draw at this industrial estate cafe, with diners describing the small, medium and large plates as generous, well cooked and good value. One calls the medium a huge plate of food. One reviewer singles out a bomber bap packed with bacon, sausage, Monterey Jack cheese, egg and hash brown, and another says a cafe that cooks eggs properly is a good one. Close behind are the drinks: a cappuccino so tasty one diner ordered a second, a perfect latte, and a mug of tea praised for its size. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, service is described as quick, and several mention how clean it is. A couple of reviewers say it is tucked away but worth finding. Complaints are few but specific. One reviewer was asked not to charge a laptop and to change seats, and would not recommend it for working on devices. Others note only one slice of toast with the large breakfast, limited parking and no air con. One diner who found the room chilly on a freezing morning was moved to a seat by the heater.

“Visited Concorde Cafe recently and ordered the large breakfast, which was only £13 and great value for money. The food was lovely, well cooked, and very enjoyable. My only small criticism would be that you only get one slice of toast with the large breakfast, which felt a little limited. Other than that, everything was great. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, service was quick with not much of a wait, and the cafe itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. It’s located on an industrial estate, so just keep an eye out for the signs.”

“Fantastic food, good prices, speedy service, it's clean and the staff are lovely. What more could you need. I'd be back for the size of the cup of tea alone!!”

“Great service great food can't fault. Happy to make the changes to the breakfasts. For medium breakfast it was certainly worth the money. Drinks good too. Will be returning here 100%.”

“Stopped here while car was in for service. It's hidden away but worth finding. Food is good, well cooked and decent value for money. You know a good cafe when they can cook eggs properly. Tea was spot on, latte perfect.”

“Friendly, chatty atmosphere with a local community feel. Not ideal for working: I was asked not to charge my laptop and to move seats. Stopped in here while my car was in for its MOT at a nearby garage. Before my cuppa was served, the manager/owner asked me not to charge my work laptop and to move to a specific seat to free up a table for when it got busy. When the waitress brought my drink, she was friendly and seemed to acknowledge that the request was slightly unreasonable. In the end, it didn’t get particularly busy, and the table I’d originally been sitting at wasn’t used for the duration of my stay. I can tell this café has a community of people from local businesses, which creates a nice, chatty environment, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking to work on devices they need to charge.”
