About Denmark Cafe
On Sprowston Rd, Denmark Cafe serves breakfast in an old-school greasy spoon style. The Big Breakfast comes with chips, alongside a smaller English breakfast and vegan choices for those wanting a lighter option. Tea is served by the mug rather than the pot. The cafe operates on a walk-in basis, with no booking needed, and high chairs are available for families with young children. It opens Tuesday to Saturday during the day, closing on Mondays and Sundays. A free parking spot can sometimes be found right outside the building, though it can be harder to come by during busier periods.

Customer Review Summary
The big breakfast is what most reviewers come for, described as massive, well cooked and great value, with the chips that come alongside it singled out and a few saying it sets them up for the day. Smaller options get praise too, including a small English breakfast with tea and a small breakfast with nicely cooked egg and bacon, and one reviewer mentions vegan meals. Service is called friendly and quick, and a couple of reviewers call it a proper old school cafe, with one saying the quality is the same every time. A chef among the reviewers rates it the best breakfast they have had in Norwich, though they note the price runs a little higher than elsewhere. The one sharply negative reviewer reports tinned tomatoes and tinned mushrooms, greasy food that was not cooked very well, a place that was not very clean, and opening times that were wrong online. Another says parking is often difficult at busy times. One reviewer came only for a mug of tea and a chat with a friend and found the room full of people enjoying big breakfasts.

“This was my first time visiting the café in more than six years. Since then, it has new owners. I chose a small English breakfast and a cup of tea, which cost £9.30. Although parking is often difficult during busy periods, I easily found a free spot right outside the building.”

“Proper old school, friendly greasy spoon. I had the big breakfast which was well cooked and great value...loving the chips that came with it. Sorted me out for the day! 👌😋”
