Customer Review Summary
Chicken dishes come up most: flatbread chicken and chips described as melt in the mouth, chicken strips with chips and slaw that had a fussy eater clearing his plate, and chicken tenders with a coating one family called yummy. Close behind are the brisket chilli, burger and tapas praised by a diner turned away by two pubs with closed kitchens, plus a sourdough toastie at breakfast. Reviewers repeatedly describe friendly staff, including a bartender who asked about allergies and a welcome for families with young children. The decor is called quirky and museum-like, with sofa chairs. The caveats are small but specific: one brunch group noted tables were not cleared promptly, and a visitor who knows the Lounge chain found a quiet room, a slight wait to be told to find their own seat, and food hot but not the chain's best. One family points to kid cutlery and decent kids meal portions.

“Great building, great menu. Was perfect for a last minute lunch with 3 children. We were so lucky to have been met by Juliana - an incredible, natural, helpful and attentive soul. Our children absolutely adored her, as did we. If only more people in hospitality were this amazing. Lovely experience!”

“Passed by this place a couple of times and then decided we would pop in for a bite of lunch. The place is full of interesting and quirky items and pictures...I could have spent hours, was more like a museum! Jade at the bar was very helpful, she asked about allergies etc,, and was very knowledgeable. Paige was out server today and she was very friendly and chatty...and full of smiles! She came back to check how our food was....and it was amazing! I had flatbread chicken and chips ..it was mouth watering and melt in the mouth. Have to say I devoured it 😋🤤 Mr had chicken strips chips and slaw ...now Mr is very fussy and I was very surprised he cleared his plate! So overall a big 10 out of 10....and also for the staff! Hope to get back before we leave!”

“Family friendly, lovely staff, and delicious food. We all really enjoyed our lunch here, and didn’t feel like we were burdening anyone given we have kids. If anything they were so accommodating to us as a family and made us feel so welcome. Food is also amazing, definitely recommend the chicken tenders. The coating is so yummy. The kids meals are also a decent portion, tasty, and they even offer kid cutlery which was a nice touch. Can’t wait to come back when we are back in town again!”
