  “Visited twice in a week while staying nearby. The chicken Milanese is good, on pesto sauce with rocket and Parmesan. Cheeseburger good also. Had the pappardelle with sin beef and enjoyed it too, but took quite a while to come out from kitchen. Young staff are friendly and helpful.”

  “What a brilliant find! We booked a table for 11 and the team at Tallo couldn't have been more accommodating, happily upsizing our booking from 4 to 11 at short notice. The pizzas were out of this world - and honestly, £20 for a 20 inch pizza is unbeatable value. The kids' maze and playground were the icing on the cake, keeping the little ones entertained all afternoon. We visited on Wednesday 12th August and our waiter went above and beyond - attentive, friendly and polite from start to finish. A brilliant spot for a family or a friends get-together like us, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Cornwall!”

  “Tried this place twice now, both times really disappointed. First time we had takeaway, ordered an hour in advance to pick up, arrived on time, they then said they had already sent the food. I had to wait 45 mins after my collection time as they were busy. Then the £20 pasta was given to me in a chip box and had what I must describe as a kid portion, all for £20 (see photo). Fast forward a couple months we thought we would try again, no still shocking. We sat in, had pizza & pasta. Both items were missing ingredients from the menu, only to then be replaced with something similar as they diddnt have the other ingredients. Don’t get me wrong the staff are nice but the service is hit and miss. As a local though we would give new places a go but wouldn’t touch it again with a barge pole. Shame because the location in a banger, shame the food is not that. Head here if you like watery pasta”

  “My Husband and I recently had a dinner here for our wedding day after our ceremony. The service, the food and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The team looked after us so well, we couldn’t have asked for better on our special day, they decorated our table with decoration’s we dropped off and they did a stunning job on the table, gave us a private space to enjoy the time with our guests and even had a TV ready for the 6 kids we had with us in case they needed entertaining while we waited before starters and mains. Took a pre order from us and printed off everyone’s ordered and added them into the table to make it smooth for everyone. I couldn’t thank the girls enough they were fantastic and i highly recommended them for any special occasions you are hosting. The food was phenomenal too.”

  “Haven’t lived in Newquay for long was told to try here . Went for my twin daughter’s 21st pre meal . Very mid watery pasta hardly any toppings on the pizza . The cocktails were nice though one saving grace . Would I come back a firm no .and especially if your celebrating a birthday. Very underwhelmed. Sorry wanted to like because live so close .”

  “We can’t recommend Tallo more highly! The staff are incredibly friendly making a really welcoming atmosphere, it’s super stylish but chilled too. The views are stunning, the food is fantastic and you can easily park. Dog friendly. Incredible customer service. It’s now our go to in Newquay!”

  “Absolutely gorgeous restaurant with amazing views. Food is delicious. I went for the seafood pasta and my partner went for the pork shoulder pasta. Both had a beautiful balance of flavours and were really tasty. For starters we had the focaccia which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired with top quality olive oil and balsamic. We also had the mozzarella dippers which were outstanding paired with a hunny dip. The waitresses were really lovely, let us sit wherever we preferred and helped us understand our drinks. They were really attentive and kind. The food was top quality and I found it really good value for money. Thanks ever so much”

  “Amazing Service and Staff. Took my partner here for her Birthday dinner. Unfortunately she wasn't a fan of the main dish she ordered but the staff where very understanding and even applied a discount to make up for it. Even got a free cocktail as a birthday treat. I enjoyed all the food I had and the Jubel beer is so good! I highly recommend, the atmosphere is great and the views amazing at sunset.”

  “We enjoyed ourselves so much on Friday evening, we came back on Sunday! Everything was just right, from the email confirmation through to the friendliness of the staff and onto the food. The Sunday dinner was delicious. Special shout out to Millie who accommodated our 2 large dogs despite the loud barking at oneself in the reflection in the window!”
