  “Everything was good. Olives, grilled cheese, then the lamb that was well cooked and juicy. The rhubarb gin fizz was tasty and refreshing. Waitress & waiters very swift and smily. I will visit again.”

  “My husband and I visited Red Mezze for a lunch date and had a very enjoyable experience. Finding a parking space nearby was a little challenging, and we had to drive around a few times before finding one. Once we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy, and we were seated quickly. We chose from the lunch menu, which includes one starter and one main course for £12.50 per person — excellent value for money. For starters, we ordered the hummus and patlican ezme, both of which were very tasty. For our mains, we had the chicken shawarma and lamb ribs. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous for the price. The service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. Overall, a great lunch at a reasonable price. We'd happily return and try more dishes from the menu.”

  “After having a church service went with some of the students to Red Mezze. Never been to a Turkish restaurant was a nice atmosphere, the staff were amazing especially with such a big group. Went for their Chicken Wrap which was really nice and would have it again.”

  “Great food and overall experience. The choice of food is great and it arrived relatively quickly. Order an extra pot of humus. I felt the shared pot just wasn't big enough. Its a great place to get food.”

  “Unbelievably tasty food. Will definitely be back. Took 25 mins for food to come but to be expected as massive sharing platter cooked fresh on bbq for 3 people (or 2 greedy geordies like me and wor lass 😀). Free Turkish tea and pudding at end. Wonderful service from start to end. After chatting to lovely waiters/waitresses/chef they are family/friends all working together, so get in there and support. You won’t be disappointed.”

  “It was my first time visiting a Turkish restaurant, and I absolutely fell in love with the food. I had the Shawarma, which was incredibly flavourful, and the dessert, Katmer, was truly out of this world ..one of the most delicious treats I’ve ever had. Ahmed, who served us, was very warm and welcoming. He even kindly offered us a double shot espresso as a complimentary drink, which was such a thoughtful gesture and tasted amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Turkish cuisine!”

  “Ordered from the lunchtime special menu and it's well worth it. £12.50 for 2 courses. £48.75 for 3 of us and the portion size was decent. Great service from friendly staff. Nice, warm bread with the starters. We also got a complimentary dessert to share which was a lovely touch.”
