  “Absolute quality genuine chinese food and very quick, tasty and fresh. No nonsense place, order and eat, simple as that. Sit in and take away both absolutely spot on. Great portions and unbelievably good food, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend the Singapore vermicelli noodles ans salt and chilli spare ribs, oh and a lovely glass of iced lemon tea. Lush!”

  “Highly disappointed and do not recommend. We went here yesterday and ordered a Chinese to take home. The Chinese was awful, no taste and full of Greece. Everything tasted like it had been cooked in the same cheap oil it was inedible. We spent 75 pound and binned the lot! The noodles, chips, prawns & curry all were thick of oil it was honestly disgusting. Total waste of money and will not be returning.”

  “We usually go in before the game & sit on the stools opposite the Chinese Arch. The food is good & the service super quick. The owner's daughter is helpful when you're trying to figure out the name of the type of dish you're trying to eat! My Chinese friend says their lacquered ducks are fabulous.”

  “First visit to Newcastle's Chinatown. Found it hard to choose as there were lots of places. Chosen this one as I saw a few takeaway delivery drivers so maybe, it was worth a try. The menu was quite large, and found it difficult to choose. Decided on an old classic Cantonese dish called Braised tofu and crispy belly pork over rice. It was okay, nothing special. The tofu was pre fried, so it wasn't as pillowy as I'd expected. The belly pork was just a few pieces and tasted fine. Sadly, it didn't give me that nostalgic experience as I was expecting. Shall I come back, nah. It was about £10 or so, I'd paid. No frills place, so not exactly a place to bring a date or anything like that. It wasn't that busy in there either. Sat by the window as a solo diner, so didn't feel out of place. Service was unfriendly which is disappointing.”

  “Tried their dumpling soup and prawn on toast. Both 4/5 in terms of taste and pricing. Atmosphere is usually busy. Service is quick.”

  “Popped in for quick lunch and glad we did very tasty, food was served very quick and staff were also polite. Small place but managed to get seated. They also do takeaway.”

  “Legit chinese food in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Craving for Asian food during our Europe trip and chanced upon this restaurant where lots of local Chinese dined in. We had the shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork plus the sichuan mixed veggie. Really good and authentic taste.”

  “A little cafe restaurant serving traditional Chinese foods with reasonable prices. The prawn crispy noodles was delicious and the hk hot tea was strong enough to put hairs on your chest! The roast duck and soya chicken was nice the char sui roast pork was bit on the chewy though side unfortunately. Not much room for a wheelchair when busy but accessible at quieter times at a squeeze.”

  “This is a very small restaurant in Chinatown, Newcastle. There are six tables and more sitting by the window. The service is very good and the food is very yummy. We decided to enter the restaurant as the kitchen, which you can see from the street, it is very clean and tidy. We ordered fried rice, fried noodles, wanton soup and duck with pineapple and ginger with chinese tea. We enjoyed it very much so the next day we decided to go back again and we ordered prawn crackers, half duck, special noodles and chinese tea. Everything was very yummy again and we left feeling very good. We really recommended this restaurant as they work as a team and they are very professional.”
