Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers come for the mixed grill platter, described as generous enough for two and reminiscent of Istanbul, with succulent meat and rice and chips alongside. The cheese kunafa with ice cream is close behind, called crispy outside and soft inside, while the baklava was seen as standard but still delicious. Diners also praise the pickled veg, the ayran, the Turkish tea, the yogurt lassi and the mint margarita. Staff are often called friendly and accommodating, with one waiter welcoming a family warmly and food arriving fresh. Decor and a welcoming atmosphere come up repeatedly. Complaints are scattered but specific: the lentil soup and ribs were bland for one diner, and one reviewer found the staff hard to deal with until they considered a request. Another was charged more for a slice of San Sebastián cheesecake than the menu stated, and found it average and drenched in chocolate, with staff in earpieces who seemed indifferent to the order. Several still say they will return, one after being offered a taste of the ayran.

“Really... Wow! What a place, all the staff we had on this evening were amazing, very polite, happy and at the table whenever needed. Mixed platter for 2. Superb. The food is outrageously good, we had been looking for somehwere to eat after a long day in Hospital and I was hankering for Meat and boy did they deliver. Everything was succulent, flowing with juices and just outright mouthwatering. One of the best parts, the pickled veg, whatever brine they are using is MAGIC! A perfect item for cutting through the meats. They also let us try the Ayra which was beautiful. We will certainly be back. Thank you guys 🇹🇷”

“This Turkish place was an unexpected find. From the beautiful decor to the delicious desserts, it is a great place to end the night. We went for the cheese kunafa with ice cream and it did not disappoint. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and flavourful, pairing really well with the ice cream. The baklava pieces were standard, not special but they were delicious nonetheless. The Turkish tea was refreshing. I would definitely come back, especially to try their actual food for dinner, highly recommend this place! Plus they also have A/C for the summer!”
