First time trying Yemeni food, went with some friends. Quite loud downstairs so asked for seating upstairs - personally delighted that instead of tables up there, there were separated seating spaces on the floor. Great vibe when hanging out with friends. Most dishes are £8-12 with great portions. I had the Agdah Chicken which also came with a large portion of bread, and I would absolutely recommend it. Eager to try Mandi next!

Food was okay. They didn't have the Roast Lamb Muhamer so ended up ordering Zorbian Lamb but I felt the rice was slightly undercooked and the meat was not tender and was stringy. Otherwise place was clean. Could do with the staff being more friendly.

This is the third time we have been tonthis restaurant. We have ordered the following 3 dishes for the 3rd time, Lamb Haneeth, Lamb Mandi, Lamb Mouammar. All the dishes have authentic Yemeni taste and are delicious and freshly cooked. Its served with a traditional soup that's delicious too. Quick service. I recommend this place and would not hesitate to return in future.

First time trying Yemeni food and it was amazing. Staff were really friendly and kind. They made us feel comfortable as it was our first time here. We got the platter 5 and the portions were massive. Will definitely go again

I used to mostly eat Mandi in Coventry, but one time I visited Hadramout Restaurant in Manchester with my family and we really loved it. Since then, whenever we’re in Manchester and craving Mandi, this is the place we prefer. Personally, I love their Lamb Mandi the most—it’s full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Some of my family members prefer the Chicken Mandi, and that’s delicious too. Both are definitely worth trying! What really takes the Mandi to the next level is the red chutney (sauce) ❤️❤️they serve on the side—it’s absolutely amazing and adds the perfect kick to the meal. We also tried their fresh orange juice, which was so refreshing, and their kebabs, which were tasty as well. I also love their seating area, especially for families. They have a nice covered family section where you can sit comfortably and relax while enjoying your food. Sitting on the floor in the traditional style makes eating Mandi even more fun and authentic. Their staff service is also excellent—very friendly and attentive. Honestly, for me, Hadramout is all about the Mandi👍👍👍. If you’re a Mandi lover, I highly recommend visiting this place when you’re in Manchester.

How this listing is sourced

Where the data comes from
Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
How it stays current
Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
How it is ranked
Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
