Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to Moonlight for the falooda, with the cookie dough, waffles and milkshakes close behind. One reviewer pairs the falooda with cookie dough, another orders a Snickers milkshake and a moonlight special waffle, and the kunafa is called generously portioned. The cookie dough is described as massive, and several praise the portions and fair prices. Staff are called friendly and quick, and the relaxed, family-friendly room with a swing gets mentioned by parents whose daughters loved it. The complaints are specific. One reviewer arrived at 12:45 after a long journey and was told the order could not be served, with no help offered. Another says the toilet needs minor repairs, the kids' play area used to be good but is gone, and one star was lost for the state of the menus. Downstairs is described as open in the daytime, with upstairs opening after 7pm when there is more staff. One reviewer calls it a solid middle of the road dessert stop on Wilmslow Road, usually visited after dinner.

“Had a really nice experience at Moonlight in Rusholme. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a good dessert after dinner or just fancy treating yourself. There’s a really good selection of desserts, and everything we tried was fresh, tasty and generously portioned. The waffles and cookie dough were definitely highlights, with plenty of toppings and sauces, and the milkshakes were thick and full of flavour. The kunafa was also really good and came in a generous portion. There’s enough variety on the menu that everyone can find something they like. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the visit even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, and it’s a nice place to sit down and enjoy your dessert rather than just getting something to take away. Overall, Moonlight is definitely worth a visit if you’re around Rusholme. Good desserts, generous portions, plenty of choice and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”

“Very disappointing experience. We arrived at exactly 12:45 after travelling a long distance, but were told they could not serve our order. We explained that we had come from far away and politely requested them to accommodate us, but unfortunately they did not provide any helpful response. Poor customer service and a very frustrating experience.”

“I have been to moonlight on many different occasions and every single time they’ve quenched my satisfactions there falooda taste Devine an absolute class of a drink to have, just thinking about it makes my mouth water. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming the music in the background is great and soothes my emotions as it isn’t too loud and sits perfectly in the background which is great, the interior looks like heaven on earth, my 8 year old daughter loved the fact they had a swing. Also the staff are amazing at there jobs and well trained serving the deserts In the best way. Today I was served by Tammar and he was an absolute pleasure to be served by, he made me feel very comfortable and welcomed and not to mention the cookie dough and falooda combo he made today was brilliant! Moonlight will always be my number 1 desert spot, I’ve previously recommended moonlight to family, friends and colleagues and it’s never disappointed. if you’re reading this review i HIGHLY RECOMMEND to take a trip to moonlight if you’re in the area 10/10.”
