Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often praise the fresh beer, especially the IPAs, with a wide tap list and a bar that lets drinkers sample before choosing. Specific pours named include a Huka NZ Pilsner, described as balanced, and a Sonoma beer. Close behind is the knowledgeable staff, who make recommendations based on what a drinker usually likes. Many also enjoy watching the beer being made next to the seating area, along with the chilled atmosphere, the beer garden and a heated indoor space where conversation doesn't need shouting. Slice Culture pizza on site gets repeated mentions, including a 4cheese pesto pizza, and a few add that events like chess and pickle club nights, merchandise and a farmers market give people reasons to stay. The one complaint is a single reviewer who took off a star because the woman at the bar was the only unfriendly person they met in Manchester. Another reviewer arrived before the pizza kitchen opened and could not try it. Visitors also mention buying cans of the beer just brewed on the way out.

“Brilliant venue. We had a wedding here and it was absolutely marvellous. It was the perfect venue. This visit was with just immediate family to judt relax in the natural atmosphere of the place. Most of the beers etc are brewed on site and the process is on view which in itself very interesting. Pizza was available the Saturday evening we returned on. They were great tasting and value. All in all it's close to other bars and is well worth a visit.”
