Quick info
About Piccadilly Tap
Piccadilly Tap is a pub in Manchester, set in Gateway House on Station Approach, a short walk from Piccadilly station. The bar runs five rotating cask beer lines alongside German and Czech lager and more than 20 craft beers on tap. Real ale, keg and cask, and ciders are also poured. Tasters are available for anyone unsure what to choose. Seating is on the ground floor, with a separate area on the first floor. It is a drinking pub only and serves no food, so the focus stays on the taps. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the beer range, with over 20 taps of craft ales, keg and cask, ciders and real ale. Named pints include a Yorkshire Pale Ale, a hoppy IPA and a ginger spiced ale called Black Edge. Close behind is the spot beside Piccadilly Station, which suits a drink before a train or a pre-match pint for visiting and City fans, and drinks are called reasonably priced for a station bar. Staff come across as friendly and knowledgeable, and the seating inside, on the upstairs balcony and on the front terrace gets repeated mentions, along with a note that dogs are welcome. The recurring complaint is about facilities: one reviewer says the toilet seats and locks are broken and paper is missing, and another says the outdoor seats need replacing. One reviewer adds that the bar offers a taster to anyone unsure what to order.

“Great bar near the station with plenty of seating inside and out. Fantastic range of beers including real ale with over 20 taps. Service is good too”

“Absolute local gem for quality drinkies but the 'everybody welcome' khazis can be a living nightmare. At the very least the staff could fix the seats and the locks, and provide paper. Ladies: best to get there early doors before it all turns into the gents and it's ankle deep, I do not exaggerate...”

“So I was in Town Picking up my Mrs from Piccadilly station after a business meeting in Oxford and I got there a little bit early so as I was walking up the station approach I stumbled across the Piccadilly tap so I decided to wet my whistle. I walked in and headed straight to the bar and I ordered a pint of IPA(I can't remember the name) but service was friendly enough, Great pint i paid £5.50(You can pay cash or card), Chilled out relaxed atmosphere mixture of working class to office types, There is outside seating aswell internal seating. Pint was very nice and very hoppy and was well served and the bar was clean and tidy, Polite and friendly staff. Great experience, Great pint and a stone throw from Piccadilly station. Me and my Wife post alot of reviews on Google and we always give out honest opinion and feedback on everything from service, value for money, cleanliness, customer service, ambience etc. We have reviewed everything from being at a pub/restaurants near our home in Manchester to football stadiums, Beauty treatments, Beach clubs, Hotels, Airbnbs, Flights etc. From Manchester to Split(Croatia), Supetar(Brac, Croatia), Hvar(Croatia), Rome(Italy), Vatican City(Rome), Bezier Cap de' agde(South Of France), Podgorica(Montenegro), Budva(Montenegro), Tirana(Albania), Sarande(Albania), Ksamil(Albania), Krakow(Poland), Zakopane(Poland) and in a few weeks we are off to Cape Verde. “My sister and I popped in for a quick drink on a lovely sunny day, and sat outside on the terrace. The drinks were reasonably priced, and the server on the bar was friendly. Such a great bar!”
