About North Bar : Circle Square
North Bar: Circle Square is a bar in Manchester's Oxford Street area, next to a courtyard, and it stands on one of the city's largest and sunniest squares. It opens daily from early until late. Koto Kitchen serves Asian street food from a separate food window, with beef brisket bao buns and gyoza on the menu. The taps carry a large range of craft beers, including a cherry stout, and cans come in half sizes too. Wines and a smaller list of cocktails sit alongside the beer. Guests who skip alcohol can choose from two alcohol-free cocktails and an alcohol-free wine, and some drinks are clearly labelled gluten free. The bar also makes off-menu cocktails on request.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come mainly for the beer, praising a wide range on tap and in cans, with a cherry and jasmine beer and a cherry stout singled out. Close behind is the food from the separate food window, where the bao buns, gyoza and beef brisket buns are described as tasty and quick, and veg gyoza and tofu fries also get a mention. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and helpful. One drinker who avoids alcohol found an alcohol free amaretto sour and alcohol free wine, another reviewer had a gluten free request handled with care, and a third had an off-menu passionfruit martini made to their taste. Reviewers also like the courtyard seating and the vibes. The complaints are small: one says the music was too loud, and another says the bar appears in the wrong spot on Google Maps, so their group circled several blocks before finding it. One visitor stopping by during an event was handed a free can of beer.

“Incredible service today. I fancied a cocktail and wasn't sure if any on the menu would suit my taste/preference. The bar professional asked what I like, and proceeded to make a perfect off-menu passionfruit martini!!! The food was also incredible and wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!!”

“On Google Maps in wrong location. We had arranged to meet here and went round and round until we found it. It is on a different block. Nice bar but please fix the indicated location 🤓 It is actually at the white and blue arrow in my pic.”

“Friendly helpful staff. They went out of their way to help me get something gluten free, and did a great job of it! Lots of drink options, and some are clearly labelled gluten free, which is nice! Means I can pick a beer knowing it'll be fine.”

“Barstaff are lovely! Just be polite and you won't get rudeness back! Good beer in a pretty highbrow corner of the world but very spacious, with good vibes and food was nice. Music too loud but that's me.”
