About Night & Day Cafe
Night & Day Cafe is a bar and live music venue at 26 Oldham St in Manchester, with a stage that hosts local and international bands in the evening. During the day it serves coffee, and start-up bands play live performances. The room is long and narrow with pillars, and gigs have both seating and standing places. Bench seating runs along the edges, and the bar and cafe area behind has full seating. The kitchen makes sandwiches, wraps and burgers. The drinks list covers spirits, beer including a house lager, and a selection of non-alcoholic options. The venue is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the live music and the sound, describing acoustics as superb, a great sound system and top quality sound at a venue that suits bands on the rise. One attendee of a festival date adds that the long, thin room has pillars that block some views, though the raised stage helps those at the back, and another says the view was great wherever they stood. Friendly staff come up repeatedly, as do the vibe and decor, with one reviewer calling the building funky. Drinks draw praise for a good spread of non-alcoholic options, a great selection of spirits, a decent beer selection, house lager and very good coffee. Several mention daytime visits for coffee and start-up bands before live sets later on. One reviewer who travelled in notes a 15 minute walk from the car park they found. Another mentions air-conditioning running on a very hot bank holiday weekend.

“Come here when ever I can if I visit Manchester. Been here with family and friends more times than I can remember. It's always a good vibe. Lots of start up bands in the day time. It's a grate place to chill for a couple hours.”

“We were there for The New Christs last night. Loved it. A proper live music venue. The acoustics were superb. We travelled from Teesside. Last time we were there The Blue Orchids & The Groundhogs were playing a John Peel Festival. We managed to get parked up in Euro Park which cost us £10 and it was a 15 minute walk from there.”
