  “Very nice workers, friendly and helped us with drink recommendations. Got to try the new Hentai Iced Tea and it was great, goes down so well. Hot honey a bit too spicy for me but sure its for someone out there Atmosphere can be a bit awkward but definitely worth visiting”

  “I had a lovely time at BCD with my friend after work! Staff were very lovely and friendly and helped us pick a drink when we weren't sure. The atmosphere is so unique and fun to be around would highly recommend. If you like fun different looking bars where you can listen to fun music and see something new this is your place!”

  “Very personable staff and I ordered a Corona lager. I didn't realise it was digital payments only and I only had cash at the time and the lovely member of staff, just let me have it on the house and I filmed some footage after connecting with the staff. So I appreciate them for that because they didn't know me from Adam and he probably didn't know I was a content creator even though I had my BMPCC4K handheld rig with me. I did ask "Could I get a few shots" and one of the staff went "you're cheeky" And I reiterated "No! Ha ha... I meant with my camera" it was hilarious. 😂 I definitely will be there again because it's a welcoming environment. I was told that you couldn't go solo by other people but that wasn't true but I did go on a quieter night.”

  “Terrible experience. When I ordered my drink this female bartender of apparent Asian descent was racist, xenophobic and very blunt towards me - she mentioned that in this country, people say "please" before ordering drinks. When she gave me my beer, she said "now say thank you. Am I your mom, do I have to teach you manners?". That's not even banter, that's just tasteless and it made me feel unsafe in this environment as a latino immigrant. We just left and went to Voyeur, next door, and were treated very well!”

  “BCD is probably one of the most unique bars in Manchester, pretty sure it’s actually the only one with this concept as well. Everything is in character to the tea whether is the walls, the music or the menu. It’s all detailed to the max as it should be. The concept of the phones on the walls is absolutely brilliant, although bouncers like to keep pervs out of places so I’m not sure how it works. The neon lights add such an unforgettable I’ve to this place as well.”

  “It’s unique, I’ll give you that. Love the quirky decorations and the overall theme with neon lights and old tvs as part of the decor. Plenty of seats available and seems like a good place for a private date. The vibe differs based on the day of the week and the time. The entrance is easy to miss during weekdays so, need to keep a look out for it beside the tattoo parlour which is easier to locate.”

  “Really nice place with "unique" decorations. Drinks were pretty good, nothing bad or special but the main reason you'd go here isn't the drinks anyways. The venue was on the small side but it had plenty of seats. I was there on a Saturday night which was very crowded but there was no queue. The music was quite laud, so it is not good for chatting but pretty nice for dancing. There was a dj when I was there, so that was quite nice. Overall I'd recommend this place if the pictures look like something you'd enjoy. Definitely an interesting place and even if you don't plan on spending your whole evening there it is probably worth to check it out just for the environment.”
