  “I was enjoying my night until I tried to speak to the staff. Alley(?) was extremely rude and dismissive, and her reasoning was "I'm a student, why would I care about the customer". I'm only visiting Manchester and I will ensure anyone who comes here will avoid this place. What a deplorable attitude.”

  “Pretentious doors staff here when we visited. Apparently we didn't look rock enough or something so were refused entry - not for being too scruffy, but because he didn't like the particular clothing label I was wearing... forgive me for not realising I have to dress a certain way to prove I like rock music (I'll wear all black and fake tat sleeves next time. Happy to take a "are you a rock fan test" if it gets me in!?) Sad because I generally like the vibe of Bunny Jackson's venues and would have thought they were beyond outdated crap like this 🤷‍♂️”

  “Junior Jackson’s is one of those hidden gems that if you find, you’ll definitely want to keep coming back. I’m not sure what it’s like on a weekend but going on a weekday as I did, the vibe is so relaxed, the music as mentioned by others is all over the place but that’s fine by me. The happy hour deal has changed but not updated on the website ( it is now half price on everything instead of buy one get one free) The decor of this place is so American and k love it, I couldn’t get enough looking around the walls at all the funny stickers and shirts. The cocktails were absolutely fabulous, especially for that happy hour price, you could stay here for hours without spending a bomb.”

  “Best bar in Manchester. Friendly staff...most of the time. Great music with a variety of alternative music and just great vibes inside. Reminds me a lot of a LA bar. Shame they let Ian go, he was the best doorman in Manchester.”

  “Loved our bartender Paul, the cactus jacks old fashioneds were to die for!!! Paul made us feel so welcome whilst also simulataneously making us feel most unwelcome with his own bespoke brand of humour. I did love the rock and roll music and it was all rather stimulating”

  “I have been in this gaff a few times now and each time it doesn’t disappoint . Firstly the 2 -4 -1 offer for the afternoon session means that any drunks in your party can really kick in. My wife loves to spend a night curled up in the corner on a night out this spot is the perfect place to get her hangover the best possible chance of kicking in . If you have any wine connoisseurs in your party then this is a must . The opportunity to drink wine out of a sports direct mug simply can’t be missed . The size of the mug is unbelievable so make sure you keep two hands on that bad boy . Love the jukebox . Some people mention corbieres as having the best jukebox in Manchester - but this place rivals it . The way each song seamlessly flows into the next is fab . I didn’t thing that a heavy metal song could be sung at a higher octave but just when your ears have gotten used to it, boom up it goes ! My friend Craig did leave upset as a lot of abuse is written on the walls about a Craig. I know some people have said don’t bring people to the bar that struggles with stairs I would say take care bringing any over sensitive Craig’s to this place ( well at least keep them out the toilets ) . We had two in our party so left with a wet shoulder from having to comfort these two softies Top bar”

  “Pretty cool place which offers a free hot dog with your drink, however the drinks here are pretty expensive as a double costs around £10 but I don’t know if that’s just manchester or because of the free hot dogs. The entire bar is covered in unique decorations ranging from stickers, graffiti and other random decorations which contribute to the bars charm. The staff are very friendly and often take part in drinking shots with the customers which is nice to see.”
