  “This place has built an excellent reputation, and after visiting, it’s easy to understand why. The three-course menu at £38 offers incredible value considering the quality of the food and service. The separate dining rooms create a lovely atmosphere, while every dish was beautifully prepared using excellent ingredients. David looked after us brilliantly and his attention to detail made the experience even more special. From the warm welcome through to dessert, everything was first class. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be returning.”

  “I’ve visited J Sheekey a few times now, and I’ve enjoyed my food and experience every time. Mainly come for the seafood tower, and the portions are always very generous and will fill you up (so please keep in mind if ordering other dishes with the tower). Beautiful restaurant and sitting at the bar, at the table, or outside hasn’t affected my dining experience. Great post-theatre dinner option, especially if you’re craving fresh seafood during the warm summer months. Never booked, and usually just walk-in, but there was one instance when they weren’t able to accept walk-ins so keep in mind if you want to visit on a special night or if there are more than 4 in your party. Really lovely and attentive staff too. Can’t wait to come back!”

  “Tried this seafood restaurant after a theatre trip and had a lovely meal there. The person on the check-in desk was professional and polite, taking a genuine interest in our visit. Tried the set menu option and a seafood platter. Food was well prepared, presented and tasty if not a bit pricey (but hey, it's London). Enjoyable meal and would eat here again. Plenty of variety on the menu.”

  “Wonderful Resteraunt with a great atmosphere - picturesque interior with multiple photos of famous actors stars adorning the walls. Food was fantastic well presented and severed - delicious flavours and ample portions”

  “Had a wonderful evening at J Sheeky celebrating my mums birthday before a show. The service was impeccable and the tuna tartare and the burrata with baby tomatoes was sensational. It’s an institution for a reason. Apparently the oysters were a delight too. I’ll definitely be back.”

  “Classic seafood establishment, plenty of seating. Lovely oysters (got the mixed) and great fish of the day (halibut think cut) which had the texture slightly similar to ray. Overall recommended but can be pricy - which seafood establishment isnt.”

  “I e been wanting to come here for ages and It didn’t disappoint and I would really like to come back here again only next time I would book earlier so we could secure a prime time slot and also I would request to be in the main restaurant area. We didn’t sit in the outside bit but we were in a small room just off the main area and it did rather lack atmosphere but I think that was also partly because we were one of the last sittings. The food was exceptional, if theres a cheese soufflé on the menu I’m going to try it and this one was delicious next I had the skate wing and it was so good I forgot to take a picture before I stared. The cocktails were very good as well and as you would expect the service was perfect. I will definitely be coming back here. It’s not the cheapest but its good value for a special occasion. My recommendations would be book early and if possible pop by before you book and ask to see inside and decide where you would like to sit. It’s a true gem of a restaurant”

  “Food is five stars, but service was a letdown. We ordered the fish and chips, a seafood stew/bisque, tempura shrimp, salmon tartar, and oysters. All were very good, especially the fry on the fish. Perfectly crispy while being moist and flaky inside. Service however was a big miss. Multiple times we’d had to remind our server, even for things like water. An otherwise very nice restaurant to dine.”

  “J Sheekey was great! The portions are huge and absolutely worth it. We ordered both the cold and hot seafood platters, and they were delicious—super fresh and beautifully done. We sat at the counter bar, which was a fun spot to watch everything happening. Our server was excellent and stayed professional and attentive, even though it looked like there might have been some behind-the-scenes staff drama. Overall, a really good experience. I’d definitely come back—especially for seafood that fresh! 🦞✨”
