Quick info
About Angry Crab Shack
Angry Crab Shack is a seafood restaurant in London, on Rupert St, built around a build-your-own seafood boil bag. Guests pick a protein, sauces, spices and sides, with Asian-Cajun flavors running through the choices. Snow crab and King Crab are both on offer, and the Habanero trifecta sauce is one of the sauces on the menu. A Family Feast is listed for three to four people, which gives a shared table one spread to split. The dining space is small, and the restaurant is open daily.

Customer Review Summary
Crab draws the most praise, with reviewers naming the snow crab as the best they had and the king crab paired with the trifecta sauce for its balance of heat and spice. Close behind are the huge portions, from a family feast that fed a group of five with leftovers to a mixed bag to share, and the seafood boil with clams, shrimp and lobster tail. Servers earn repeated credit for being friendly, checking in often, explaining how the boil works and showing one diner how to eat a whole crab with the tools. One family found the whole lobster mushy with an unusual taste and felt the staff insisted it was fresh, while another reviewer describes dirty toilets, a run down room and a weak alcohol selection for a pricey family bucket. One diner waited a long time to order drinks, and one reviewer suggests booking in advance since the room is small. The lobster complaint ended with an apology and a plate of brownies.

“It was soooo good 😍 we loved it so much! The food was delicious. Def recommend the snow crab that was by far the best we had! We had almost everything on the menu fish wise! Also chicken tenders super good! The only thing was that we waited for the service in the beginning for 25-30 minutes just to order drinks”

“A Great find and a must if you want Great seafood. Would recommend the King Crab and the habonera trifecta sauce, a nice balance between heat and spice. Amazing quick and friendly service. This place isn't cheap, but either are the ingredients. There are cheaper options available on the menu if you don't want a full blown blow-out treat.”
