  “What an incredible dining experience @gauthierinsoho to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary, a fully vegan food and drinks menu. Felt incredibly intimate, sitting at the chefs table and getting a signed card by the man himself, Alexis Gauthier, was a beautiful touch, the chef that went from classically French trained to full ethical vegan. The staff were so attentive and thoughtful. Thank you, team Gauthier for such a memorable experience that will be everlasting.”

  “I got the petite dinner and wine pairing. The combos of veggies were different and I feel that the wine pairing there were a few that didn't hit the same. Overall I'd try it again but I hope they add more vegan proteins into the mix.”

  “A phenomenal experience from start to finish, absolutely incredible food and flawless service. My expectations were very high but this exceeded them. Every course has so much personality that they were genuinely distinct and memorable. The dishes showed such impressive technical skill (and such a breadth of it!) that I commented on it throughout the evening. The creativity was visible even down to the bowls themselves. I think the innovation at the core of vegan food brings it to the cutting edge of what fine dining can be. I love being vegan. I also need to mention the thoughtfulness of the nonalcoholic drink pairings- highly recommend!!! So many interesting components. They genuinely complemented the dishes and added a fun element to the experience. I appreciate the nonalcoholic drink selection more generally, too. I absolutely *must* thank the lovely staff. Our servers were so kind and brought a warm and happy presence. They made the evening incredibly special- we booked at the last minute because I had just found out that I passed my PhD and I was surrounded by congratulations. What a wonderful place to have a celebration.”

  “We had an amazing experience. It’s fair to say Gauthier’s reputation is up to expectations. Situated in the charming Soho in a characteristic old townhouse. The food is elaborate and flavourful, the ingredients used from the chef are top notch and always in season. The staff are lovely and very attentive. Probably the best vegan restaurant in town!”

  “The most wonderful experience for the senses. I had the spring Petit dîner with 6 meals. Everything was cooked to perfection and a delight to the taste buds. My meals were accommodated to be gluten free friendly and it did not disappoint. The waitress explained everything perfectly and it spring curiosity on how unique the flavours were and how far the ingredients were sourced. It goes to show how incredible vegan food has become. Definitely a must if you live in London or are visiting!! 💖”

  “The love and dedication that goes in each of the dishes is truly amazing. We loved each one of them! My husband didn't believe me, when I told him that the dishes were all created without using animal products. ;) The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly (I had made a mix up with the dates and they were so kind, making it possible that we were still able enjoy this incredible dinner experience). Thank you & we hope to be back soon!”

  “The food was superb, presentation was lovely, and service was very attentive. The only feedback I'd give is to please explain the food more loudly and clearly add I struggled to hear or understand it all. Thank you for fitting us in at short notice. Also for understanding that we were a group of 3, celebrating my husband's and my 30th wedding anniversary, but only 2 could eat due to my medical issues.”

  “Visited in June for the spring 2025 menu. An amazing vegan course menu. The menu didn’t disappoint, all the various flavours and textures were wonderful. All the ingredients used were fresh and you could tell from the taste. Service was great, staff were attentive and kept an eye on when you finished one dish and would clear your table, ready for the next dish. Great service and restaurant, would recommend coming to try the menu. Would like to come back and try the menu from a different season.”

  “My partner and I visited Gauthier Soho to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and we had a truly fantastic evening! The food and drinks were simply incredible. Creative, surprising, and carefully crafted. So delicious! We had a blast with every bite. The staff were very kind and attentive. The sommelier, David, was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly — his passion for the drinks truly shone through. Both the alcoholic pairings he selected and the nonalcoholic beverages he creatively crafted were absolute highlights for us. We felt very welcomed - and David made sure our evening felt even more special! We also love the philosophy of the chef and the restaurant: creating absolutely delicious, innovative and seasonal meals without using animals. It’s inspiring and makes the whole experience even more meaningful for us. We cannot wait to be back and try another one of Gauthier’s fantastic menus. We recommend the restaurant wholeheartedly!”
