  “We came to dine in a while ago and it was one of the best dinners we've had. As an Argentinian restaurant the meat is quite good. They have ribeye, fillet and morcilla. The chimichuri sauce is nice. Sides and starters include creamed spinach, burrata and foccacia. You can also get a blue cheese empanada, which great. They serve Argentinian wines, including Malbec. There is some outdoor seating. We thought the price we paid was worth it for the quality and quantity of food we had then. Follow on IG for more travel and food and drink tips, ideas and reviews.”

  “Casa Malevo is the kind of place that gets the important things right. It’s Argentinian, so naturally the expectations for the steak were high—and they delivered. The filet was excellent, cooked exactly as it should be, and the empanadas were the perfect way to start. Good food, great atmosphere, and staff who actually seem happy to have you there. Nothing complicated, nothing pretentious—just a damn good meal in a place with some soul. I’d go back without hesitation.”

  “My Argentinian friends had been telling me for years: if you want the real thing in London, go to Casa Malevo. I finally listened — and I'm so glad I did. The occasion was bittersweet. Next week I begin treatment for cancer, and with it comes the end of rare steak for me. I needed somewhere worthy of a last hurrah, and Casa Malevo delivered completely. The room feels like Buenos Aires transplanted to Connaught Street — intimate, warm, unhurried. But it's the beef that does the talking. Cooked with an understanding of the cut that you simply don't find in most London steakhouses, it arrived exactly as asked: properly rare, deeply charred on the outside, with that clean, iron-rich flavour that only grass-fed Argentinian beef has. No unnecessary flourishes. Just steak, done right. The service matched the food — attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being showy. They clearly take pride in what they do. I couldn't have chosen better for a meal that meant this much. Casa Malevo earns every recommendation my friends ever gave it. If you have any excuse to go, take it.”

  “Best steak I've had at a restaurant in years - melt in your mouth, cooked perfectly, with crunchy flavorful broccoli and a side sauce of garlic butter melted with bone marrow. And of course good wine. Service was attentive but never rushed. Just go!”

  “Cozy, romantic and comforting vibes. Went there for a special outing and sets the right vibes for us. Steak was done to the liking that we like. Very attentive. We told them, we may need to leave for a show after the meal. And our meal was ready at the right timing for us. 🥰 will definitely go back again for their steaks 🥩 and cocktails!”

  “Food was good and well prepared — I had the octopus, a beef empanada, and the burger with chips. The octopus was tender with a nice grilled flavour, and the sauce added a good brightness. The empanada had a generous filling and a nice hit of olive that cut through the richness. The burger was juicy with lots of flavour layers (bacon jam, onion ring, pickles), though the bun did get a bit soggy and I would have liked more sauce. Chips were crispy and well seasoned. The Virgin Mojito was sweet but refreshing, really well blended. Service was attentive without being pushy — they checked in at good intervals, and the food came out at a good pace. The atmosphere is moody with stone walls and dark seating, but softened by lighter background music, so it feels relaxed rather than heavy. Overall it’s a nice spot with quality food and thoughtful service, though a little on the pricey side for what it is”

  “This is one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood. Service was excellent. We didn’t know the wines of South America but tasted a few before we decided. Menu is great. We weren’t that hungry and chose the smallest and cheapest steak. It tasted well but they could have been more tender. Fries were the best. Burger was rated 75% by our 13 year old expert due to a lack of sauce in the burger. To me it looked amazing. Dessert was awesome. Highly recommended”
