About Bursa Restaurant

Bursa Restaurant is a Turkish restaurant at 1 Connaught St in London, serving Turkish breakfast for one, two or three people, so a solo diner and a table of three both get a portion sized to the party. Turkish tea comes with the breakfast and keeps flowing, and the team brings extra hot water on request. The kitchen also cooks over charcoal, with Adana kebab on the grill menu. Cheese pide, falafel and zaatar bread give the menu lighter options, and desserts include kunefe. The drinks list adds Turkish coffee, mocktails and milkshakes.

Customer Review Summary

Reviewers return most for the Turkish breakfast, a spread of cheeses, olives, jams, simit, and eggs or menemen, with Turkish tea poured continuously through the meal. The sucuk and grilled cheese draw particular praise, and a few say it reminded them of breakfast in Türkiye. Close behind are the grilled meats, including Adana kebab, lamb shish, and a family platter, along with dolma, Iraqi lamb biryani, and kunefe or baklava with ice cream for dessert. Some also order za'atar pie, cheese pie, and falafel, or come for iced coffee, milkshakes, and shisha. Staff are described as welcoming and attentive, bringing extra hot water and bread, and one delivery order arrived with a free box of baklava. The complaints are small and specific: the lamb doner on the family platter tasted dry, one diner found the Adana kebab too spicy, and another noticed the single breakfast platter looked more generous than the one for two.

“We enjoyed a beautifully presented traditional Turkish breakfast spread, showcasing some of the best flavours of Anatolian cuisine, served with authentic Turkish tea. ☕ What we tried: 🍳 Turkish Breakfast for 2 (including Turkish tea) 🍕 Cheese Pide 🍯 Baklava with Maraş Ice Cream ☕ Turkish Coffee The breakfast spread was incredible — from a variety of cheeses and olives to honey, jams, crispy börek, and sizzling eggs. Every bite was packed with flavour and felt truly authentic. The restaurant’s beautiful interior and attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable.”

“We visited as a group of six on Sunday around noon and ordered two breakfast platters for two, one single breakfast, and a za’atar bread. Everything was excellent in quality. In fact, it was the first time I actually finished a full breakfast for two with my friend — it was perfectly portioned for sharing. The tea was great, and the waitresses were very attentive, kindly bringing extra hot water and more bread whenever we needed it. The only small detail that caught my attention was that the single breakfast platter seemed more generous than the one for two. Overall, everything about this place was wonderful. I will definitely be coming back for breakfast — but next time, I’m going for the single portion😅”

“Had an amazing experience at Bursa on Edgware Road! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening. A special shoutout to Saif, who truly made the experience exceptional. His service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and professional. And without a doubt, he served the best shisha I’ve had in a long time. Smooth, perfectly prepared, and lasted throughout the night. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, vibes, and outstanding service. Will definitely be coming back!”
