Customer Review Summary

Most diners highlight the chicken shawarma as the main draw, praising its big size while several report the meat arriving pink and undercooked. A few note the grilled fish as a well-made option. Reviewers repeatedly criticize the service, describing staff as rude or unfriendly, citing waits of thirty minutes even when the room is empty, and recounting an incident where the waiting staff and chef mocked a complaint about undercooked meat. Other complaints mention dry rice, extremely overpriced dishes, a £2 charge for a small bottled water, and poorly maintained toilets. One reviewer describes receiving a pot of mint tea without teabags that tasted like plain water. Despite these issues, some guests mention friendly staff and enjoyable shisha after dinner.

“We ordered grilled baby chicken which did not taste at all. The food took forever to be prepared. The chips was so bad. When we asked for water, they said they don't serve tap water and charged us £2 for the small water bottle. They also have a 10% service charge. And finally, the place, especially toilets are poor and need a lot of work. The 2 stars are for the grilled fish, which was the only good thing in the experience.”

“I don't usually write reviews, but this time I had to. We ordered 2 shawarma sandwiches. One of them was chicken and the other mixed. The wrap look really big and nice but upon opening it my chicken was all pink and uncooked, same with my friends. We let the waiter know and he took it back, however it was the exact same the second time for us both. The hummus we ordered was lacking taste, the bread seemed dry. We went in and spent £15 on hummus and 2 fresh orange juices. It's sad as Persian cousine is lovely and having had experience in restaurant business for many years, personally, the standards were not met. I have nothing to say about the service as it was nothing bad nor special. The chicken pieces need to be thinner and more cooked, same goes with meat. I hope this is fixed in future, as uncooked chicken or meat can be very dangerous.”
