About Cacciari's Asia
Cacciari's Asia is a Japanese restaurant on Bute Street in South Kensington, London, built around an open-plan sushi counter. Seats face a sashimi display case, and separate sushi and sashimi chefs work behind it, so each style of fish has its own station. The menu runs to 78 dishes and covers sushi, Izakaya-style plates and wagyu, alongside a robata grill that turns out black cod. Rock Shrimps Tempura comes from the fryer, while Devon Crab Tacos take the menu in a different direction. Bento boxes pair items such as tempura, sashimi and miso soup in a single serving, and Saicho sparkling tea is on the drinks list. A private dining option suits groups. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Bento boxes come up most, with one reviewer suggesting them when the menu feels overwhelming, since they pair classic tempura, don, sashimi and miso soup, and another praising the beef bento. Close behind are the fresh sashimi, a salmon don with spicy mayonnaise and sesame seeds, rock shrimp tempura, crab rolls, soft crab salad and miso aubergine. One diner calls the robata grill black cod the best they have had, and the Saicho sparkling tea also gets a mention. Reviewers describe the room as classy, mellow and sophisticated, with warm, professional service, and several say it suits dates, solo meals, friends, or a stop after the nearby museums or Royal Albert Hall. The main trade-off is cost, as a couple of reviewers call it pricy or not cheap, though one still finds it good value. One visitor was sent by a map app to the Italian sister restaurant and found the food only ok. At a birthday dinner, the chefs wrote happy birthday on the dessert.

“Cacciari's Asia delivers a truly authentic Japanese experience right in South Kensington We loved everything about this place from the beautiful interiors to the incredible vibe created by the welcoming staff. The food was simply outstanding. The sushi was incredibly fresh and the tempura was impeccable. The standout was the robata grill we tried the black cod and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Well worth a visit!”

“A really good Japanese food restaurant with decent decorations and well made food. If you are overwhelmed by tons of choices on the menu, you can choose bento box which serves you with basic and classic items like tempura, don, sashimi and miso soup~ and the price is pocket-friendly. If you want to design your own set of meal, there are definitely more choices. The restaurant provides different varieties of fresh quality sashimi as well. Also warm service and good music taste! I feel I haven’t been treated as this for a really long time since leaving Asia. Thank you everyone in the restaurant for treating me in a sunshine noon~ Btw, could you please share me with your song list? ❤️❤️❤️”
