Customer Review Summary

Reviewers most often single out the generous portions of authentic Lebanese food, with the mezze plates, hummus described as creamy and velvety, and the foul medames named as highlights. Close behind is the baklava, which several say came free at the end of the meal, and one praises the Pomegranate Rose juice. The lamb pulao and lamb kabobs in curry are also called flavorful and filling, and a large catering order for a group arrived fresh, hot and on time. Service is repeatedly called friendly and welcoming, and one reviewer notes the surprisingly large vegetarian selection. The complaints are specific: one diner asked for crispy whites with runny yolks on the Sunset Eggs and got solid yolks, and another found the lamb sharwarma dry with a poor fat ratio and the Kafka a bit dry, though well seasoned. That reviewer had still enjoyed the hot starter platter. Several guests were handed mini baklavas at the close of their meal.

“A lovely breakfast overall, with a few standout dishes! The shakshuka was really nice, but the foul medames was a solid 10/10, absolutely delicious and easily the highlight of the meal. The salad was also top tier, incredibly fresh and a perfect accompaniment. The only disappointment was the Sunset Eggs. We specifically asked for crispy/well done egg whites with runny yolks. While the whites came out perfectly crispy, the yolks were unfortunately completely solid, which was a shame. Aside from that, a really enjoyable breakfast with some fantastic flavours. Would definitely return, especially for that foul medames!”

“Stopped here for some food with 2 friends, after a trip to the V&A. Such warm, welcoming staff, and a lovely atmosphere and decor. It was busy, obviously well loved by local patrons, and there was a nice buzz of conversations around us as well as our own. Our servers were so friendly and attentive. And the food... Delicious, flavourful, filling. It was our first visit here, and we will certainly go back again soon.”

“They serve the best Mezze plates I have had in the UK, and the staff are absolutely amazing, wonderful service. Absolutely recommend! They also have a surprisingly large selection of vegetarian items. Sam and Husam in particular were very friendly and recommended the best items on the menu.”

“Last week, I placed a catering order for 32 colleagues for an in-house event, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. All dishes were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and there was more than enough for everyone. The food arrived fresh and still hot, and it was delivered right on time. The feedback from my colleagues was fantastic — everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and many of them commented on how impressed they were. A huge compliment to the chef and the whole team. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food, generous portions and reliable service.”
  • Daniela Saucedo
“Definitely the best Lebanese food I had so far. The hummus was so creamy and velvety. The pizzas cheese was delicious. And our lunch special platters were so good too. Definitely will come back. The service was very friendly too, they give you Lebanese baklava as dessert which you don’t want to miss.”
