“The overall experience was simply fantastic. The food service and atmosphere were all top-notch. The food was vibrant and authentic Turkish with some Mediterranean influences like hummus from the Levant. The vine leaves were delicious and the main courses including the kofeh were equally great. Don’t miss the desserts; they’re epic and worth a the calories. The service was warm and helpful. The owners always greeted us with a big smile and were incredibly friendly. I had a wonderful time and I’ll definitely be back.”

“We were in this restaurant for dinner on Saturday night. As a starter, one of us ordered the octopus appetiser. For mains, we ordered the chicken and the vegetarian moussaka. To drink, we had an Old Fashioned and a Kir Royale.The owner whose name I guess Ege was very friendly, welcoming and polite. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. However, we felt the portions were too small for the price. The grape leaves starter was very small and at £15, we felt overpriced. The chicken and vegetarian moussaka portions were also on the smaller side,l and the moussaka itself differed from a traditional one, which was a little disappointing. Drink prices were in line with market rates which is fair. We liked the Turkish tea treat at the end of our dinner. Overall though, the portions and prices don't feel well balanced and the vegetarian menu is quite limited.”

“We had such a lovely meal at Baba. The dips were absolutely incredible, and our main was just as impressive, so fresh and full of flavour. The staff were warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Thank you for such a wonderful evening!”
