  “I'm wondering about all the 5-star reviews. To me, this was just okay. Had the Halloumi platter. The cheese was grilled too little, the fries were crispy and the salads rather dry and a little bland. Not bad overall, but really nothing special.”

  “The guys running the place couldn’t do enough to make us welcome. The food selection is wide despite the place being tight. Loved the food we had which included falafel, hummus, rice, couscous and shawarma. Fresh salad with everything, rainbow salad was yummy.”

  “When you're business is running slow, you should aim to improve the quality of your food and your service. When this place first opened pre-covid, the owners were great with their service and taste was nice too. But now, poor service. Chicken was undercooked which meant I threw away 50% of the wrap. Total waste of money. You're better off going to Berwick street for lunch.”

  “The place is overall very nice and we could also do our magrib prayer in their basement. The food was also delicious. The only reason I gave it a 3-star is that the food portions were very small as compared to the prices. I had the chicken skewer magic box costing me £13 and they literally gave me 1 skewer which was 3 thin chicken pieces on a small stick. There were the sides too, salad and chips, but it was not enough as a whole meal. And my friend got fried hallumi magic box, she literally only got 2 small slices of hallumi cheese with the sides. The chicken shawarma magic box had a better portion size.”

  “We stopped here before heading to Hadestown show. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious! They are a great location for seeing the cast of any show at the Lyric Theatre. I would recommend & likely will go back.”

  “Visited this place for lunch today. Had the house special with chicken shawarma as protein and also a falafel wrap. Both of the dishes tasted good. I liked the chicken in the house special plate, it was cooked perfectly. Quality is good overall. One thing which I found bit strange is the difference in prices of take away and eat in. Each dish is around 3 pounds costly if you eat in, which I felt is too much. Other than that, I really liked the vibes of place and the food. Personally, would RECOMMEND the place if you don’t mind the extra pounds for eating in.”
