  “The katana special ramen here is incredibly creamy and flavorful, and the perfect amount of spicy. It was very filling as the largest option on the menu I would safely get the smaller one next time knowing it would be enough. It’s a small place with a queue normally, but worth the wait. Definitely coming back to try all the good looking sides on the tables next time ours. Oh, and they freeze the glasses, a lovely touch when you’re having a spicy bowl in a warm restaurant”

  “A cosy Japanese spot with a standout shiromaru ramen - the pork was tender and well‑cooked, but the real star was the broth: silky, deep, and genuinely satisfying. My only gripe is the menu’s vague all‑toppings option; a clear ingredient list would make ordering much easier for those who prefer to customise. Overall, a very good bowl and a place worth revisiting.”

  “I track my daily calories using an app that finds restaurants for me. The ramen fitted my remaining calories and had good protein with the pork slice. The dining area is clean and simple.”

  “The veggie special ramen was good. Not the best ramen I have had, was just missing something. It needed mushroom. The chicken ramen was decent.”

  “Everything about this ramen is very mediocre. and priced at an absurd £22.5 I can't justify it even considering its location. It's unfortunately such a far cry from Ippudo in Japan I was questioning if it is actually a branch. I heard customers saying it was amazing so don't take my word for it. you might like it. The extra noodle portion was nice and worth the price, ramen was not.”

  “The food was fine, but the service and cleanliness of the restaurant were not. All of the napkins we were given had weird stains on them. When we asked for more, we were still given stained napkins. The chef isn't Japanese, and the Japanese waitress is weirdly passive aggressive.”

  “A bit on the pricier side for a ramen dish but very delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was great with a nice amount of toppings. You can opt for more toppings if you wish and even more noodles if you're exceptionally hungry. Got there just after 12 and was able to be seated immediately. Would definitely go again the next time I'm in the area.”

  “Ramen restaurant located a short walk from Trafalgar Square opposite the entrance to the arches under Charing cross station. One of several Ippudo restaurants in London, first visit to this one. Not a huge place but we were able to get a table at peak time after a short wait. Relaxed modern shabby chic vibe to the place. Good choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The ramen was good, not the best I've ever tried, but tasted very nice.Great choice of drinks, nice to see Okinawan Orion beer and one of my favourite sakes available. The service was friendly, welcoming and helpful.”
