  “Everything was amazing. Definitely worth nearly an hour’s trip. Their dosa was phenomenal, and the okra fries are a must. I’d also highly recommend trying their cocktails. The Tamil Prince fully lived up to the journey. The only downside was that the counter seating was a bit uncomfortable, but the food more than made up for it.”

  “Place is just hype and no substance.ent around 1130, couldn't get a cup of tea while around others were being served. Food is presented nicely but portions are tiny. As a foodie I say this place has no flavour and just socials hyped. Had the chaat for 14£, expecting a flavor explosion. But all the food is very bland(by design?). Dosa has no sambhar(it's a staple guys). Bhatura massive but you run out of peas in 2 bites. Overpriced, hyped, underflavoured, poor service and no to much. Good food doesn't need hype”

  “Delicious food and friendly staff. The one down side I could say is that the some of the currys portions were quite small if you were to order it just for yourself. We went as a group of 4 and took things to try and share which was a brilliant idea.”

  “If it’s some solid Indian pub food you’re after , Tamil Prince never disappoints. The lamb chops and mango lassi are a must try . The bhature with Chole is visual and gastronomic delight . onion bhaaji is top of the rack. Dosas were decent . Service is always on point and friendly .”

  “An absolute gem of a place. Not sure I've had a better curry in London. Relaxed atmosphere, a very nice 'Gunpowder Margarita', the chicken and lamb currys plus bhaji and roti. All absolutely divine. The lamb curry in particular is exsquisite, delicately spiced, just a little short on meat though for £16, could do with an extra few grammes per portion. That being said I would order it again in a heartbeat.”

  “The Tamil Prince is such a great spot in London with a lively atmosphere and a really nice location for grabbing a meal after exploring the area. The restaurant has a cozy pub-style setting with amazing South Indian flavors. We tried the channa bhature, okra fries, masala dosa, and coconut pilau rice. Every single dish was delicious and packed with flavor. We didn’t have a reservation and still got lucky with a table, but I’d definitely recommend booking ahead because the place gets busy fast. One of our favorite dining experiences in London for sure.”

  “After a little bit of a kerfafle over how the waitress can take an order on a shared table, we were finally off. The food here is good - loved the flaky parata, the chicken curry and the crunchy, fried okra fries. But it was the lamb chops, succulent and flavourful with Gods own country spices that was the show stopper. Service was lack lustre and the ambiance was moot, but this is still a smart, Desi gastropub.”
