Customer Review Summary
Lamb draws the most mentions, from a tender lamb in a tasty spicy sauce to the lamb shank, with chicken close behind: a chicken jalfrezi called perfectly spicy, a chicken tikka jalfrezi ordered with extra naga chili, and a chicken shaslik masala. Vegetarian plates earn praise too, particularly the aubergine, okra and saag paneer, and a creamy chicken korma worked well for a toddler. Reviewers also single out the spice naan and a rice pudding dessert. Service is described as friendly, quick and welcoming, with staff offering suggestions, though one diner wanted it a bit more attentive. The food does not win everyone over. One reviewer found it only okay, with the rice and vegetables overdone and sticky, and another says staff encourage reviews in exchange for a small treat or discount, which they think may inflate the ratings. One reviewer suggests a mango lassi to change the aftertaste. Another describes free thank you chocolates at the end of the meal.

“If you’re wondering why the ratings are so high but the food is only average, one possible reason is that the staff encourage customers to leave a review in exchange for a small treat or discount. That may have influenced some of the ratings. As for me, I thought the food was just okay.”

“we had really lovely dinner! We came with a toddler and they gave us great recommendations what she would eat! Every dish was really good, we had one vegetarian with us and we shared several dishes with and without meat, seasoning was spot on. Especially great was the aubergine, the okra and the saag paneer dishes. We had a lovely creamy chicken korma, also great for the toddler. Would come again!”
