“After heard great reviews on its food managed to try it out. Food only the beef stew taste good but not the noodles rough and thick. Duck noodles was let down same as fish ball noodles. If can give 0 star on service that would fit anyway on the final bill no service charge. Man what an attitude on those servers might as well convert it as a self service restaurant.”

“First came to Wong Kei in the 1980's. The staff these days are far friendlier. Back then solo diners were only reluctantly given a menu if they requested one... Now the staff are much friendlier. Also, solo donors now have their given to them once they've finished eating - in the old days, you were expected to go to the counter to pay. Food is still as good as ever - menu has expanded since those days. Went for the char-siu pork & soya chicken on rice. Back in the 80's that would cost £1.80 - now it is over £11.. Worth every penny.. Always recommended..”

“We went for a dinner after rainy evening. Soups made great start, then spring rolls and then beef noodles and sweet and sour pork with rice. Everything was very tasty. Staff was very nice. I will plan to go back for sure. Atmosphere has 4 stars only for those who are looking for modern restaurant. But I go to eat out for flavours not for posh place. Place got really busy for dinner by locals. To see less tourists and more regulars confirms that it is to go place for flavours.”
