  “Had a really fantastic meal at Pot & Rice . I thoroughly enjoyed it and would easily head back! Starters Fried Oysters: What a absolute revelation. Having only tried oysters once or twice before, I’d never had them fried, but I am so glad I shied away from the safe option of fried chicken. Crispy, flavorful, and something I’d order again in a heartbeat. Pan-Fried Beef Dumplings: Very good, possibly some of the best dumplings I’ve had in a while. My only slight mental hurdle was comparing them to a incredible beef lumpia I had a few weeks back (maybe an unfair comparison, but it stuck with me!). Still, top tier. Mains Chinese Salami & Chicken Pot & Rice: Marinated in a delicious ginger soy sauce, this was pure comfort food. I wasn't entirely sure what went into the Chinese salami/sausage element, but it delivered a solid, rich combination of flavors alongside the tender chicken. Korean Beef & Kimchi Pot & RiceThe Korean Beef & Kimchee featured boneless Scottish sliced beef marinated in a sweet Korean-style soy, served with kimchee and an egg yolk. It was lovely! The tender beef was spot on, and breaking that rich, runny egg yolk to mix throughout the rice took it to another level. Whatever magic is in their signature Pot & Rice sauce, it brought everything together perfectly. Drink Lychee Bellini: Super sweet and refreshing. I think it works brilliantly as a standalone drink to kick off the meal. Plus, the uniquely angled glassware was a great touch. Atmosphere & Service The restaurant wasn't overly busy when we arrived, but by the time we left had built up just enough buzz to feel lively without being too loud to hold a conversation. The staff were polite, swift, and struck the right balance by not being overly attentive or hovering, which made for a relaxed dining experience.”

  “I had dinner at the Pot and Rice yesterday for the first time. I had high expectations based on the reviews and I was not disappointed. The service was super organised and fast. The food came very quickly, and it was delicious and so comforting. Loved the rice noodles starter, and the rice pot was so filling and with an amazing crust at the bottom. We ordered the minced pork rice noodles starter and the Korean Beef and Kimchi rice pot (which is marked as spicy in the menu, but it is not spicy at all). I am curious to try other dishes in their menu. I booked via theFork and had 30% off the food.”

  “My go-to whenever a claypot rice craving hits. I've worked my way through most of the menu by now, and the Chinese salami with chicken claypot is still my favourite. The Taiwanese fried chicken is a solid side, and the lemon tea and mango pomelo sago round the meal off nicely. Consistent, comforting, and reliably good every time.”

  “Finding a claypot rice in London with crispy crust and full-on wok aroma isn’t easy, but Pot and Rice nailed it! The Chinese sausage chicken and kimchi beef claypots were both crispy and flavorful—though I’m personally obsessed with the chicken, super tender and perfectly paired with the sausage 🤤. Starters like the salted corn and crab shrimp rice rolls, plus the cheesecake, were all solid hits. The vibe isn’t your typical cha chaan teng—it’s cozy, modern, and super Instagrammable 📸. Definitely coming back!”

  “One of my favorite restaurant in London - pot & rice! You can choose many different flavours and you never get tired since they always launch new flavours to surprise you. The Taiwanese crispy chicken is also highly recommend.”

  “Very impressed by the aubergine and rice cooked in a clay pot. Not normally a fan of aubergine but this was elevated to another level. Definitely worth a try. Great vibe too!”

  “Absolutely loved this place. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The prawn rice noodle roll with crab roe was silky, fresh, and full of flavour, with the sauce balanced really well. The claypot rice dishes were also excellent. The preserved sausage and chicken combination was rich and comforting, and the foie gras version was especially unique and memorable. The atmosphere was lovely, and everything felt thoughtfully done. A great place to enjoy a meal with friends. Would definitely come back and highly recommend it.”

  “Visited in a group of five with an advance booking. Each one of us chose a clay pot rice for our own and topped with a few starters and veggies. The lady wait staff were young and friendly but somehow not attentive enough. I ordered the most expensive rice on the menu which was the Foie Gras rice for £38. To me the rice dishes were tasty but a little oily. One of the good things about this restaurant was that we could buy Buymeego discount coupons and use them on the spot. One of the bad things about this place was that it did not provide WiFi to customers and the phone reception was extremely poor in there. I would not go there if I were on for business with someone. Nevertheless I will still go there for the clay pot rice.”

  “The food was goood claire/Yunji was so nice and treated us well and was so efficient. The food was missing spice so we did ask for chilli oil but it was on the salty side but other than that it was amazing❤️🙌 Ordered: -Starters- - Tobiko and prawn Cheung Fun ⭐️ -Taiwanese fried chicken (4 piece) ⭐️ -Mains- - Korean beef and Kimchi clay pot ⭐️ - Stir-fried Udon with Beef - Chinese Salami and Chicken x2”

  “My first time having claypot rice and I'm really glad I finally tried it here. You know it's done properly when you get those crispy bits of rice at the bottom, easily the best part. Everything comes bubbling hot in the claypot and feels like proper comfort food. We tried the Laughing Shrimp Pot & Rice and the Beef & Mustard Greens Pot & Rice, both full of flavour and really satisfying. The Taiwanese fried chicken was also a great side, and the cheung fun was soft and comforting. Definitely worth visiting if you want authentic claypot rice in London.”
