About Pride Of Pimlico
Pride Of Pimlico is a drinks-only Craft Union pub in London, found at 85 Tachbrook St and open daily. The pub serves no food, so the bar is the focus. Real ales are on tap, including London Pride, alongside Guinness and a tap selection. Large TV screens show live sport and football matches, and a pool table stands ready for anyone who wants a game. Quiz and poker nights give the pub organised events beyond the bar and the screens, and music plays throughout. The toilets are in the basement.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often describe Pride of Pimlico as a genuine local, with regulars of several generations, friendly bar staff and a welcome extended to visitors, including an American tourist and a first-time English pub seeker. The beer gets steady attention: a properly pulled Guinness, a good tap selection, London Pride alongside a criticized Doom Bar, and Camden Hells. Several mention reasonable prices, and one credits the Craft Union ownership. Close behind are live sport on large screens, a pool table, and music some reviewers enjoy. One notes there is no food. The main complaint concerns change. One reviewer says the new governor switched from music to football, and that drinkers who came for the music walk out when it goes off. Another says things have gone downhill since a popular bar manager left, claiming the replacement bartender was sacked three times and returned. Another reviewer says they miss that manager too. Reviewers also mention quiz and poker nights, and one visitor was handed a second Amstel before finishing the first.

“Walking the neighborhood around my London hotel, I was on a mission: find my first real English pub. No frills, no fuss, just vibes. I wandered into The Pride of Pimlico, and before I could even take in the room, a gent looked at me and said, “They don’t serve food here, just drinks.” I smiled and replied, “Then this is my kind of place.” That was the moment I knew I’d chosen well. Within minutes I’d made friends with Michael and his dog Wally, who both treated me like I’d been coming there for years. I asked the bartender what the local beer was. He told me… then immediately added, “But I wouldn’t drink it.” That honesty alone deserves its own star. I ordered an Amstel instead, and before I could finish it, Mike brought me another. Wally came over to officially welcome me, and that sealed the deal. This pub is exactly what a first‑time visitor hopes an English pub will be: authentic, friendly, unpretentious, and full of good people who make you feel at home. No food, no gimmicks, no tourist gloss — just community and conversation. My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to soak in the company, the laughter, and the easygoing energy of this neighborhood gem. If you want a real pub experience, not the polished version, The Pride of Pimlico is the spot. I’ll be back — and next time, I’m staying longer.”

“A cozy London pub with a true local vibe 🏴👍 Great selection of beers, awesome music, and a really nice atmosphere. You can watch a match ⚽️ or play some pool 🎱. After a long day of sightseeing, it’s the perfect spot to stop by for a well-deserved 🍻😊 :”

“I’ve been coming to Pride of Pimlico for years now and it really feel like a second home, I met so many great people here. When I had my leg injury, the team was really kind and supportive, helped me a lot during that time which I really appreciate. Big thanks to Jenna and H, they always so friendly and caring, always make me feel welcome. I’m really upset that H has left, will definitely miss them. Really appreciate everything, great place all around.”

“Don't know if they serve food, not needed it when visiting. There is a charm about this place: the music is of an era that I enjoy, there are several generations of people all milling around, this is clearly a local's pub but you are made to feel welcome. I am drawn back here although I'm only here a couple of times a year. Keep doing what you're doing: it works.”

“Terrible since h has left the new bartender has been sacked three times and is back there - what a show! For the years I have been coming H is most definitely the best bar manager and most hospitable, she makes me want to come here every Saturday …. Where’s next then!!!! The constitution or swan!?”
