  “We had a wonderful experience at The Riverside this afternoon. We hosted my daughters Y13 leavers lunch for approx 13 people and it was fantastic. The service was excellent, and the planning and support in the run up to the event was superb. The private dining room was the perfect option and it was air conditioned which was a plus. My friends said the food was excellent.Kudos to all the staff who make this place very special. Nachi, Jake, and Lisa deserve special recognition for their exemplary service.”

  “Went here for drinks outside last weekend and it was really good vibes, nice to be by the river. Also came for brunch on the saturday, very limited menu and it was empty in there but still it waz good! Cant complain about an empty place as we got a nice table for 8. Food was pretty good. Got vegetarian full English and it was good”

  “The pub has had a revamp with the addition of a light and airy conservatory with views over the river. It is a great place for lunch and the food is much improved with fresh specials. I had pork belly and my wife had haddock and chips. Both were delicious and the haddock comes with a very light batter which sets it apart from standard pub fish and chips. Service was excellent from the moment we walked in and we're welcomed by anandh? to the meal and leaving at the end. There are quite a few pubs on this stretch of the river but the Riverside has definitely stepped up into the standout category.”

  “The riverside is second to none! Lisa Lisa Lisa! She is the powerhouse of this pub, her and Nachi are the reason I come here. Awesome drinks, music and vibes - this pub is the best. I recommend it for drinks, parties, meals - whatever you need. But particular thanks to Lisa, Nachi and Jake Jack, keep doing what you do. We love it ❤️”

  “**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review** Just had a brilliant night at **Riverside**! The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious and came out quickly, and the whole team made us feel really welcome. A special shout-out to the security team and manager — **Timi and Kelly** were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They made sure everyone was safe while still keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. It’s rare to see security staff who are so good with customers, and they really stood out. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!”

  “We hired an area at The Riverside for our baby shower party in May and we had the best time ever! The staff were absolutely lovely, very attentive, and helpful. We hired the whole of the front area of the pub which overlooked the river and was super light and spacious - the staff were also extremely accommodating and said if on the day it was sunny, we could set up for our party to be in the outdoor area instead. The staff also offered to help us set up and help with decorations which was very sweet of them. A huge thank you to Rakib and his team for all of their help and helping to make it such a special day. The venue had a lovely and calm yet inviting atmosphere, there was background music playing but it wasn’t too loud and therefore easy for our guests to talk to each other. The guests really enjoyed the food - one thing I would say is that whilst drinks were very reasonably priced, the spring menu from which we had to pre order food seemed pretty expensive. However we weren’t required to pay a deposit or a minimum spend to reserve the area so can’t complain really. The venue were fine with us bringing decorations and party favours like biscuits, cake etc (though no other food given their food license/regulations etc). Thank you to the Riverside (especially Rakib and his team) for their gorgeous venue and exceptional hospitality - we’ll remember the day for a very long time!”

  “I am disappointed with the food that I had on my visit; I came here for my birthday celebration and pre-ordered some food platters to have for the large group of people I had attending (around 30). The nachos were £42 and the chicken wings were £36 which I thought was expensive but potentially worth it to cater for the amount of people I had. I was really disappointed in the food that arrived which was x2 portions of what is photographed here. For the money paid I thought the portion size and the quality was going to be much better than this (particularly with the nachos) which is a shame as the venue itself is lovely and I’ve been here for food before and did enjoy the meal. I tried to raise my concerns with the staff on the day and felt I wasn’t really taken seriously and was just told this is what the offer is.”
