About The Perseverance
On Lamb's Conduit St in London, The Perseverance is a Victorian pub in Bloomsbury with seating on both the ground floor and the first floor. A pub quiz runs on Tuesday nights, and tables can be fully reserved for the evening. The bar pours real ales and craft beers, with Camden Pale Ale and Guinness among the drinks. The kitchen turns out pizza, including a square pizza. Dogs are welcome. Payment is by card only, and no cash is taken.

Customer Review Summary
Pizza is what most reviewers raise first, with diners calling the square pizza surprisingly delicious and others describing tasty pizzas that looked too good to wait on. Close behind is the beer, with praise for a good selection of real ales and craft beers, a crisp and refreshing Camden Pale Ale, and a pint of bitter described as super. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly, with reviewers describing a first class welcome, a chat about beers and an immediate offer to try anything. The mood is called relaxed, with good vibes at the Tuesday pub quiz, and a few enjoy sitting outside on the street on sunny afternoons. Two reviewers raise drawbacks. One found every table reserved on a Tuesday night and suggests leaving a couple free for walk-ins, while another found the room really hot during the quiz and wished a door or window had been opened. One reviewer recalls a mistaken pour that brought an extra half pint of Guinness alongside a pint and a glass of wine.

“First class welcome. Nice chat about beers. Immediate offer to try anything I wanted. I had a pint of bitter which was super, but only took a photo of cider for my dear friend Adam. I didn't eat.”

“Tasty pizzas, good beer selection, good service and a nice pub. It was quiet on May Bank Holiday at lunchtime. Seating outside on pretty Lambs Conduit Street.”

“Only went for quick drink. Very friendly but every single table reserved on a Tuesday night. Perhaps better to at least leave a couple of tables for walk ins. Very friendly staff, and even given an extra half pint of guinness to go with a pint and glass of wine. Was a mistaken pour so a bonus.”
