About The Lamb
The Lamb is a pub in London's Bloomsbury, at 94 Lamb's Conduit St, with a Victorian-style interior of wood throughout inside a Georgian building. Food is sent to the table by dumb waiter, so plates travel from the kitchen to the room without a trip across the floor. The drinks list puts cask and craft beers alongside wines from around the world. On the food side, the Sunday Roast comes with Herefordshire roast beef rump, goose fat roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy, and sausage and mash is on the menu through the rest of the week. Guinness is served with a 0% ABV option.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return to the Sunday roast and the pub's classic mains, with the Herefordshire roast beef rump, goose fat roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding singled out, and one diner calling it the best roast they have had in London. Close behind are the fish and chips, described as crispy and the best one reviewer had ever eaten, and the sausage and mash, called delicious. Burgers, including a Cajun chicken burger, a Scotch egg and a sausage roll also earn praise, along with sticky toffee pudding. Guinness gets a mention as excellent, and a Guinness 0% and a Pineapple and Yuzu cooler stood out among the non-alcoholic options. Many describe a warm, historic Victorian pub with a walled garden, friendly staff and a lively evening buzz. One group of around sixteen ate comfortably, with food sent up by dumb waiter. The one lukewarm review liked the pints and the service but found the food below average and suggested visiting for a drink and dining elsewhere. Several diners end up chatting with strangers at shared tables, one staying until closing.

“I was visiting from Canada and my local friend recommended this spot for a good fish and chips. This was the best fish and chips I've ever had! Perfect in every way! The staff were also incredibly lovely and fun to interact with.”

“We enjoyed an absolutely first-rate Sunday Roast this last Sunday, and we could not have been more pleased with the exceedingly high-quality of the food, the extremely friendly service, and, especially, the very special historic atmosphere. I've had Sunday roast at two other pubs in London, and this was by far the best. I can't recommend it more highly.”

“We had a fantastic evening at this pub with our friends. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and fun. The garden is amazing. A special thank you to our waitress, Charlotte, who made our experience truly memorable. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. On top of providing outstanding service, she even took the time to teach us a few signs in sign language, which was such a thoughtful and unique touch. Her passion, patience, and friendly attitude made us feel genuinely welcome. Charlotte is a real credit to the team, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!”

“he Lamb, what a terrific place to gather together for food, drinks and conversation. We choose this pub for the close proximity to the Kimpton Fitzroy and its wonderful reviews for Sunday Roast. It was amazing! The variety of drinks offered for non-alcoholic beverages were plentiful. I enjoyed a Guinness 0% ABV and my wife had a Pineapple and Yuzu cooler. For Sunday Roast, we shared multiple appetizers (starters): Breaded Scampi with homemade tartare sauce and a Pork, apple and pitchfork cheddar sausage roll with English mustard. For our main course, we shared a Herefordshire roast beef rump with goose fat roast potatoes, honey roasted parsnips & carrots, buttered greens, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. We also added a side of Cumberland sausage stuffing. For dessert, it was sticky toffee pudding with caramel ice cream and caramel sauce. Now I have to say, that the table next to us ordered the fish and chips and it looked so delicious and crispy. That I was drooling over it. I knew right then that we would be back that evening for dinner and the fish and chips. We had wonderful conversations with the people around us and the bar staff were all so friendly and engaging. The entire pub has such a majestic atmosphere and realistic vibe to experience. I wish that there were more of these places back home. So I guess that we will need to come back here , to The Lamb, when we visit London in the future.”
