  “Do you want to drink good stout beer and eat a fabulous ox cheek dish? This is the place. Honestly in 4 days in Scotland this is the best food we've had so far, and definitely a worthy meal even for Mediterranean palates.”

  “Absolutely brilliant. The beer was great, the atmosphere was fantastic, but the standout was the air conditioning. On one of London’s hot summer days, walking into a place that’s actually cool and fresh made such a difference. It genuinely transformed the experience and was a big reason we stayed longer than we otherwise would have. It was such a relief from the heat. Great drinks, great service, great vibe - we’ll be back for sure.”

  “Great local pub with a really friendly atmosphere. Marta and her team are always so welcoming and make you feel right at home. The service is always spot on, the drinks are great, and it's just a lovely place to relax. Always enjoy coming here and would definitely recommend it!”

  “Currently sat eating one of the best meals I have ever eaten in a weatherspoons. The quality of the meal was outstanding never have I before been so satisfied with a weatherspoons meal. This puts so much Shame on Bridgwater, Taunton, Burnham, Weston, Exmouth these others need to learn how a weatherspoons meals should be looking and being served. Well done all at the Iron Duke absolutely amazing pleasant experience and will be back. Atmosphere is spot on, good portions excellent, Bridgwater is dismal.”

  “I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwiches at this place, particularly they come with gherkin and olives - a delightful combination. However, the portion was quite substantial, leaving me too full to eat for the remainder of the day. The ambiance is cozy, though the limited seating with closely spaced tables is the primary reason I'm awarding it four stars. On the bright side, the coffee was delightful, and I was pleased with my overall order.”

  “A lovely, simple well worn and loved pub on Avery Row. Good to see it open again following the Great Plague. Good beer and lovely staff. A few boots banging around in deference to the Duke himself. A good place to visit”
