About The Starman
The Starman is a David Bowie themed pub in London, on Heddon St just off Regent Street. Paintings and decor inside carry the theme, and the floor is tiled in blue and green. The indoor space is large, with plenty of room to find a table. Orders are placed at the bar, where craft beers are on tap and the cocktail list includes a Toms Margarita. The pub also serves food, and late-night dancing makes it a stop for those staying out after dinner. Owners can bring their dogs along.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the size of the pub, a spacious room with outdoor seating, a blue and green tiled floor and paintings on the walls, where a table is nearly guaranteed yet it still feels intimate. Close behind are the friendly service and the drinks, with one reviewer calling a margarita the best they have had and another praising craft beers on tap that differ from most pubs. Food gets mentions too, including a spicy vegetarian Christmas pumpkin pizza that looked unappetizing but tasted delicious. The size cuts the other way for some: one reviewer expects slow, erratic service in such a large place, and another left after the bartender walked away from the bar and never returned to take an order. One reviewer says the pub did not cater for wheelchair users and left to eat elsewhere. A few suggest it for parties or after-work drinks, and one reviewer who came looking for a scotch egg found it delightful.

“Great central London pub . Excellent cocktails , I had a Toms Margarita , best I've ever had. Ben and team were fabulous at making them. well made, perfectly priced and sooooooo good. Food was very good and for such a good location very well priced. Staff were really friendly and happy. The pub was busy but no too loud to have a conversation and there was a wide mixture of ages. I would def recommend this venue for a party (great party area), drinks after work or easy Sunday afternoon . Loved it !”

“Security welcomes you and ensures you’re all good, especially Alfie, checked we are ok and welcomed us in - Lennie also ensured our drinks were perfection - and served with a smile - for us off to the perfect start; will be a lifetime customer because service is next level.”

“This review is based on service only as we didn’t have a chance to order anything. We walked in and the bartender said nothing. I approached and asked if we could order food and he said yes. We sat at a table and proceeded to wait. We noticed another trio order their food and drink at the bar so we made our choices and since the bartender abandoned his post, we waited and waited for his return. Sadly after 10 minutes of waiting, we got up and left. We should’ve known the moment we walked in and saw the disinterested in bartender that it wouldn’t end well. Definitely won’t be back as there are too many choices already in London you are eager for your business. It shows the owner isn’t around.”

“Good place to drop in for a nice bite or a drink. Lots of space but still feels intimate.”
