Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often single out the fish and chips, with one calling the peas fresh tasting and another saying it was the best they had had. A meat pie described as rich and hearty and a Sunday roast, including a vegan version one diner found delicious, come close behind. On the drinks side, a Whitstable Bay Lager, three cask ales and white wine get mentioned, and several describe a lovely pint served quickly. The setting draws steady comment: a small, cosy bar in a cobbled Belgravia mews, Beatles photos on the walls, and a few seats outside on a street with no traffic. The landlord and staff are called friendly, and one visitor enjoyed hearing the history of the place. The one real complaint is service. A diner who ordered three Coke Zeros was told it was boring, then asked three times about a second round of sodas before being acknowledged, while a large order for another table was filled first.

“A delightful little pub that perfectly captures the charm of a traditional London establishment. Small in size but wonderfully cosy in atmosphere, this quaint hideaway is tucked away in the heart of Belgravia, making it a genuine hidden gem. We stopped by for a glass of white wine and immediately appreciated the intimate setting and inviting character. There is something particularly appealing about discovering a place like this, discreetly nestled away from the bustle of London’s streets. For those seeking a relaxed spot to enjoy a glass of wine in charming surroundings, this pub is well worth discovering. A lovely find that offers character, warmth and a quintessentially London atmosphere.”

“Amazing pub, amongst locals enjoying a Friday night drink. Historically significant photos adorn the walls. The Beatles spent a lot of time here!”

“The owner and worker Mike were great. Very friendly and the owner was inside telling the history of the place. The fish and chips were the best I've had and the peas were so fresh tasting. We also got a meat pie. It was rich and hearty we scraped the plate clean. We were the only ones there when we arrived but started getting customers when we left. Highly recommend!”

“Cracking little pub tucked away in a quiet part Belgravia. Cobbled street and mews houses. Great beer. Friendly staff. If weather is good nice to sit outside in the street (zero traffic).”
