  “The team there couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Mum walks with a cane and we asked to change our table, wasn’t a problem and made sure she was comfortable. The pub is huge, many areas to sit, and surprise if spotless for the size and capacity. We ordered drinks then a superb Sunday roast - huge portion, the proteins were tender and flavourful, the veg not overly done, but fresh and well seasoned. Yorky- huge, and tatties - could have been a little more crispy for my taste, but lovely nonetheless. In all, a lovely place to get a Sunday roast, or pop in for a drink - the staff will make you feel at home, so thanks to everyone, the wait team and the kitchen team for a lovely afternoon in a lovely location.”

  “We walked in on a weekday at lunchtime and it was quite busy inside. We found a table in the smaller rooms on the right hand side, when you enter the pub. The food tasted great. Fish and chips is a classic option. I tried the soft shell crab burger, this was very good and I recommend this. Service was good too. I acknowledge this is a pub, but the downside to this place is that the cups were not clean and some were stained. We ordered a pot of tea, however the cup was not clean, this was then exchanged at the bar, then we were only to be given another dirty looking cup. It took some time and effort to find a clean one. It is quite off putting knowing this.”

  “Good place to grab a pint! On a sunny day, sitting at an outdoor table with a pint was really enjoyable, the atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for unwinding. I also liked coming inside to watch sports while having a drink; the indoor setting felt lively without being overwhelming.”

  “We booked my Mum's birthday here a few days ago and really enjoyed our evening! The food was fresh and tasty and they were very accommodating towards our large group of 20+ people. They were very clear and helpful with my dietary requirements as I have an allergy as well which helps to make us feel at ease when we eat out. Special mention for our waitress Ella who was outstanding! Very polite, helpful and made us feel very welcome. Ella was also very helpful on the phone when we made the booking. Will definitely be back to eat here again!”

  “Booked a table for 6 for Mothers Day. Great service, drink and food. Only downside was the fact that our table was near the front door and some customers were clearly born in a barn, leaving the door wide open, so the cold draft was very annoying. It caused us to leave earlier than we hoped.”

  “Nice place for food and drinks when you find yourself in the very weird neighbourhood of Woolwich Arsenal 😅 Especially at night the area can feel a bit… sketchy and honestly a little scary. But this spot is actually a good place to stop, relax and grab something to eat or drink. Friendly atmosphere, decent food and a welcome break from the surroundings. Definitely one of the better spots in the area.”

  “Visited the Dial Arch today with a couple of friends and had a genuinely lovely experience. The atmosphere was beautiful and the customer service was excellent attentive without being overbearing. We were served immediately and enjoyed some great drinks, including a very nice cider pint straight from the tap. We also had food, which was brilliant. I went for the fish of the day, and everything was fresh, well cooked, and full of flavour. All parties really enjoyed their meals, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. There was some friendly banter from the staff, which added to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. Overall, it’s a real gem in the heart of Woolwich. I’d definitely recommend the Dial Arch and will be returning.”

  “We had a fantastic Christmas due at Dial Arch. The food was delicious and served hot. Paula and the team took really good care of us and made the whole experience feel special. Everything ran smoothly and we all had a great time. We will definitely be back and would happily recommend Dial Arch for any parties or celebrations.”

  “We have dined there recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent location, right opposite the tube station. Claudia was an excellent server, friendly and looking after us with kindness. Our compliments to Vidas, the chef! Exceptional food! Will definitely return!”

  “The service was great - Claudia was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel very comfortable. Not only was she super helpful with the menu, but she also recommended the most delicious cocktail, strawberries and creaaam. The sides and drinks were so so good; You can tell there’s real passion behind everything. great place to chill :)”
